This beautiful cottage has exposed beams, thumb-latch doors, flagstone flooring, gritstone fireplaces all combining to bring the past to life whilst you enjoy modern comforts in this spacious holiday home for four, which was previously two separate cottages.
Ground Floor:
Lounge: with beamed ceiling, wood burning stove in original fireplace, two comfortable sofas, Smart TV and Wifi, and sumptuous soft furnishings making this a cosy place to relax at the end of the day.
Dining Room: with rug over stone-flagged floor, oak dining table and chairs, leather sofa and a TV.
Kitchen: fitted, well-equipped kitchen with beamed ceiling, double Belfast-style sink, original stone fireplace now cleverly housing pans and other cookware; oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave; breakfast table and four chairs.
Cellar: with freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, is accessed via stone steps and has limited headroom.
First Floor: up a steep, narrow staircase with original dark oak banisters
Bedroom 1: with super king size bed (can be made up as a twin room on request) and quality bedroom furniture.
Bathroom: with original floorboards, beautiful exposed stone wall, bath with shower over, WC and basin.
Bedroom 2: a good-sized bedroom with a double bed and ample clothes storage.
Outside: to the front is a delightful cottage garden enclosed by stone walling; to the rear is an enclosed garden, with garden furniture, set down a short shared access path to the side of the property. Lockable bike storage is also available.
Parking: is on street, with plenty of availability throughout the village and usually possible immediately to the front of the property.
Electricity and central heating included; initial supply of logs for the stoves provided in colder months.
Bed linen and towels provided.

Youlgreave, just one mile away, is a bustling village with a village shop, Post Office and 3 good pubs serving food, as well as riverside walks along Bradford Dale.
