About this property
3 Bed in St. Austell (oc-t27271)
Boasting lovely rural views, a cosy living room with a warming wood burner, and duel-aspect gardens that catch the sun all day long, this light and airy home offers a group of friends or family to opportunity explore the best of South Cornwall. This stylish countryside getaway is located on the fringe of St Austell Town in the Pentewan Valley with many big name attractions very close by such as the Eden Project, Charlestown, Mevagissey and the Lost Gardens of Heligan
Enter via the utility/boot room, which leads to a convenient ground-floor cloakroom. Continue into the kitchen/diner, where wooden floors, fully-fitted units, and quartz worktops create the ideal setting for home cooking and leisurely meals around the dining table. Open the French doors to the lounge and curl up in front of the TV and wood burner for a movie night, or make use of the useful desk as a workspace during your stay. Upstairs, the stylish king-size room boasts solid wood furniture and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom offers a double bed and charming views of the fields beyond, while the third bedroom, also with countryside vistas, can be arranged as either a twin room or a super-king-size room. Completing the first floor is the beautiful family bathroom. Outside, a delightful enclosed paved terrace awaits you at the front, offering views of the adjacent fields. At the rear, you’ll find a small lawn, perfect for dining alfresco. Additionally, a garage is available to store bikes, kayaks, or surfboards.
Whether you’re an avid walker or cyclist, there’s much to explore in the surrounding area. Take the Pentewan Valley Trail, a delightful 3.5-mile path that meanders through enchanting woodlands, occasionally running alongside the riverbank. Alternatively, embark on the Cornish Way cycle route to the world-renowned Lost Gardens of Heligan, or pedal your way to the picturesque fishing port of Mevagissey, with its quaint charm and captivating coastal views. 5 miles away (only a 12 minute drive), immerse yourself in the fascinating biomes of the Eden Project, each housing unique ecosystems. The picturesque Georgian port of Charlestown with its museum, antique shops, beach and more is just 2 miles away. Within 3 miles you will find fabulous sweeps of beaches such as Carlyon Bay and Porthpean Beach or experience the golden shores of Pentewan Sands (4 miles) and soak up the coastal ambience. It’s just a 13 minute walk into St Austell town centre; and the public bridle path that runs along the front of the property offers a tranquil walk with magnificent countryside views at the top the hill.
