About this property
2 Bed in Hutton-le-Hole (oc-h27724)
Utterly charming both inside and out, this Hutton le Hole cottage provides a delightful bolthole for a North York Moors getaway. Simply oozing with character, it’s clear to see that the interior of this place pairs original features with farmhouse-inspired décor to create a cosy abode for four guests. The accommodation is dog-friendly and offers a sprawling garden at the rear, ideal for those eager to explore this northern countryside with man’s best friend. Nearby you’ll find masses of attractions to explore, including the Howardian Hills AONB (approx. 14 miles) and the seaside hubs of Scarborough (25 miles) and Whitby (20 miles).
Enter the stone cottage and feel instantly welcome in the lounge, a room with cushy sofas, an open fire and a Smart TV for getting cosy on those blustery Yorkshire evenings. Original beams and an attractive hearth have been maintained in this room, adding to the overall beauty of the space. The country-style kitchen with a dining table is just next door, along with a flight of stairs leading up to the sleeping quarters on the first floor. Situated alongside a family bathroom, the two bedrooms are made up as a king-size and a double, both adorned with sumptuous soft furnishings. Back downstairs, head out via the back to reach a fabulous, tiered garden with a stream at its end, the very best place for dinner or drinks alfresco.
Whilst the picturesque Hutton-le-Hole provides a bakery, a tearoom, a pub and a fascinating local museum in less than half a mile, you’re also within easy reach of local towns including Kirkbymoorside (4 miles), Pickering (9 miles) and Malton (14 miles) for other amenities. For local attractions discover Cawthorn Roman Camp (9.5 miles), the fascinating cave of Kirkdalegrottan (5 miles) and the Flamingo Land Resort (10 miles) with animals and theme park rides.
