Sarah and Noel’s home is perfect for a family getaway. From the beautiful lakefront views to the beautiful and comfortable surroundings of their home, we had everything we needed. Sarah was so accommodating and provided anything that we needed during our stay. Their home is conveniently located to downtown Charleston. We highly recommend staying at Sarah and Noel’s home!

Perfect get away

We really enjoyed the screened in porches were we could sit and enjoy the lake and wildlife. Nice and quiet but close enough to everywhere we wanted to go.

No place to kayak, unless u want to with the alligators and snakes. View is amazing but not what is described. The furniture could use some updates and the exhaust fan in the upstairs bathroom needs to be cleaned. Looks like black mold. It's better for a family with kids then just a couple. There is only one working tv, so don't expect to watch anything except downstairs. My honest opinion, not worth what they are asking for, for 7 days.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home is very cozy and it was clean. It was nice each day to come back to a home that was close to everything but far away enough to feel as if we weren't close to the city. The kids enjoyed playing outside each evening and we all enjoyed utilizing the kayaks. I give this home a 5/5 for sure, but if I were to nitpick, the only thing that would have improved our stay would have been if the washer/dryer unit been more effective. It can take the unit a very long time to dry the clothes. Ive lived with a combo unit before and they can be a nightmare for families who go through a lot of laundry. It was a great 5 night stay and if we find ourselves in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again.

Awesome River House

Absolutely loved our stay! We loved waking up to the gorgeous view and having coffee on the screen porch. Watching gators swim the channel was an absolute highlight of our trip. The rental is stocked and has everything you need so so much better then a hotel. Fishing was fun. Everything was great. Definately one of our favorite rentals we have ever stayed at.

Outstanding!

This place was an unexpected gem. We took the provided kayaks out for a lovely paddle along the Goose Creek reservoir right out back of the house. They have two awesome screened in porches complete with porch swings and fans to keep cool. One is right off the master bedroom and we woke up to watch the sunrise from it both days. The house has some very cool decor with an excellent children's room stocked with the best classics. The place was stocked and clean. I would definitely come here again.

Absolute 10/10 Experience!If you want a rental that feels like a genuine, comfortable home rather than a generic guest house, this is it. The host is wonderfully caring, greeting us with a touching note, wine, and sparkling water.The home is beautifully furnished with high-quality, solid furniture—it has a wonderful, timeless character, and absolutely everything is in perfect working order. With two bunk beds in each of the two extra bedrooms, it’s incredibly family-friendly. It feels private and secluded but is just minutes from restaurants, coffee, and groceries. The host's communication was excellent from start to finish. A truly special place that we loved staying at!

Anniversary trip

We chose this property because it was on water and close to Charleston. The house was everything we needed and more. We never even ended up sightseeing. The pictures don’t do the place justice. The bed was comfortable and sheets were high quality. We would definitely recommend and hope to come back soon.

Zero issues

The owners were fantastic allowing us a late checkout. We were in town for my son's Naval A-School graduation. It was a very easy drive back and forth to the Base. I took a chance on this rental because I really, really hate hotels since I'm a light sleeper to noises. No issues with the wifi nor the Netflix as other renter mentioned. This place has two balconies and the second floor was my favorite. Peaceful neighborhood to enjoy an after supper stroll. The house has two A/Cs split between floors. They have two kayaks and many fishing poles for guest use.

A home away from home

A spacious, comfortable place to stay while visiting Charleston. The views of the water and the wildlife provided a relaxing setting for breakfast and dinners. The location is a short drive to the city and the beaches, but far enough away if you want quiet time. The house is exactly as described in the listing. We all enjoyed our stay.

Bed was comfortable. No shades or blinds on windows. TV only worked with antenna. Couldn't get hulu or Netflix to work. Gone from property alot. Mostly just slept and showered. Didnt utilize a lot of amenities. Wifi was slow in tv room. No tv in master.

Beautiful morning views

We enjoyed our stay. The interior of the home was super clean and had everything we needed. The home was very comfortable and had plenty of room. We enjoyed fishing from the little dock, kayaked and enjoyed meals on the screened porch. Morning sunrise views from the master bedroom were incredible.
