Located on the ground floor of a 14th-century building, accessible via a gentle staircase of 17 steps, the loft has been completely renovated and furnished with modern, elegant taste, while preserving the charm of the historic structure. The historic setting of the apartment is full of charm: a castle belonging to the Altafronte family once stood here, destroyed by the flood of 1333, a memory of which lives on in the street’s name.

The space is laid out on a single level, quiet and bright, and is perfectly organised to offer maximum comfort. It features a sleeping area with a king-size bed, a double wardrobe, and an LCD TV; a living area with a sofa, a second LCD TV, and an extendable dining table that seats four people. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, American-style coffee maker, and everything you need to cook on your own.

The modern bathroom, with attention to detail, is equipped with a shower and a hair dryer. Guests also have access to independent heating, fans, free Wi-Fi, an iron, linens, towels, and, upon request, a cot.

HOUSE RULES

Check-in & Check-out
-Check-in is free until 7:00 PM.
-Check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM.
-Check-in is by appointment only—please arrange your arrival time in advance.
-Upon arrival, all guests must present a valid ID for registration with local authorities.
-If you are more than 1 hour late for your scheduled check-in time without prior notice, a €30 penalty will be charged.
-Check-in or check-out outside standard hours incurs a €30 surcharge.

Taxes and Deposits
-A tourist tax of €4 per person per night (up to a maximum of 7 nights, for guests aged 12 and older) is required and must be paid upon arrival, as mandated by the City of Florence.
-Upon arrival, a security deposit of €200 in cash will be required, which will be refunded upon departure provided no damage or violations of the rules are found.

General Rules
-After midnight, please keep the volume down to ensure a quiet night’s rest.
-It is essential to take care of the furnishings, be considerate of neighbors, and be punctual during your stay.
-You may not accommodate more people than specified at the time of booking.
-Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
-Moving furniture or interior fixtures without authorisation is not permitted.
-You must follow the rules for recycling.
-If the apartment is left in a severely disorderly condition or with unsorted trash, an additional cleaning fee of €200 will be charged.
-Extra services (e.g., private chef, tours) must be booked before arrival. Since they are provided by third parties, they are subject to availability.
-If keys are lost, a fee of €30 will be charged for each set that needs to be replaced.
-The apartment must be left in the same condition as it was at check-in.
-The host reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit in the event of serious violations of the rules.
-In case of an emergency, contact the number provided in the house manual. For serious situations, call 112 (the single European emergency number).

Maintenance & Repairs
-For service calls not due to property malfunctions (e.g., guest error), a fee of €30 will be charged for the first hour, and €20 for each additional hour.
-For service calls requested between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., the fee will be €50 for the first hour and €30 for each additional hour.
Maintenance staff may enter the property for urgent or scheduled service, provided prior notice is given.
