About this property

Lots greenery 2 km from Alberobello Unesco heritage site unique and welcoming

"La Casa dei due Pini" was once a church and a school, built around a trullo. It is surrounded by lush greenery and a picturesque panorama of hills, farms, silvery olive groves, and vineyards. It is a country farmhouse, 1.8 km from Alberobello, with a private POOL and a large, fully glassed-in porch of approximately 100 square meters, where you can enjoy the view while sheltered from the sun, wind, and rain. Under the porch, there is also an outdoor kitchen area and a laundry room. The porch provides access to the house through two entrances. The first entrance leads to the eat-in kitchen; the second entrance leads to a spacious living and dining area, with a TV and reading corner. The house has three full bathrooms. The first bathroom is located in the hallway, while the other two full bathrooms serve bedrooms A and B. There are four comfortable and spacious bedrooms, plus one on the mezzanine, accessible by a wooden staircase, making it suitable for children and young couples. Three bedrooms have doors and windows with mosquito nets. The "Trullo" bedroom is divided by curtains and has a window and mosquito net. The mezzanine bedroom is accessible by a staircase and has a window with mosquito net. This room is recommended for children aged 12 and up and very young couples. Satellite TV, 24-hour Wi-Fi, air conditioning (on request), heating (on request), and a wood-burning tiled stove (available only from December to January). Photovoltaic panels for water heating. Ideal for hikers or cyclists (we provide links to bike rentals), given the proximity of charming country roads. "Casa dei due Pini" will remain in your heart.

Beautiful and spacious villa

This is a highly recommendable place. The house is clean and nicely decorated, with spacious outdoor areas, and a well-kept garden. The friendly and hospitable owners attended to our needs immediately. The bedrooms are actually larger than they appear on the photos, as are the terrace and the clean and child-friendly swimming pool.

Great family getaway

The home was tucked away and lovely for a family getaway. The outdoor entertaining areas were perfect for a family catch up. The house gets a bit warm at night. The pool was great to swim in. Make sure you use mosquito repellent. The owners were great and had lots of tips for places to see. We particularly enjoyed the town centre of Alborebello and Locorotundo and our trip to the zoo safari in Fasano.

Perfect Vacation!

We are a big family from Venezuela,Spain and Italy who spent a wonderful week at this house, it is super confortable, full equipped has a nice pool spacious rooms and gardens. It is located in a beautiful little town where we enjoyed, nearby beaches and great italian food. Gianni and Tanya are the best hosts, they received us with a welcome sample of wine focaccia and cheese from the area, they gave tips to find food and directions. Very well recomended!!

Peaceful relaxed space in the middle of beauty

Tiny thoughtful details around the property delighted us every day. So much space and beautifully equipped. To top it all, the most graceful genial hosts you could wish to meet anywhere. And that is saying something in Puglia where we only ever found friendliness and kindness. An outstanding place to stay. We will be back!

Fantastic Experience!

We can’t say enough about this amazing rental as well as the hosts! Pictures definitely do not do this place justice. Perfect location, plenty of space. Gianni and Tanya were more than generous and helpful with suggestions, info, recommendations, and coming to unlock the house when we accidentally locked ourselves out. We would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time at the villa. It was beautiful! The location was perfect for us. We cooked home every night and sat at the outside kitchen area. It was everything we could ask for and then some. Gianni was so helpful. We loved their wine!!!! It was delicious and so were all the goodies they left for us. We will stay here again

A real gem in the middle of Puglia!

The house is absolutely gorgeous. There's everything there that you need and even more! Very beautifully decorated. The area is gorgeous, the local markets, local produce etc.. Although it's a little out of Alberobello, there'a s a little supermarket walking distance. I really recommend this house. Proof is that our close friends will be staying there this summer! Thank you to Gianni and Tanya!

Wonderful house and lovely hosts

The house is beautiful, clean and has room for a large group like our family of seven. The outside area is lovely, even in February (we enjoyed a lunch on the terrace, prepared in the big outdoor kitchen) and the olive fields around the house are perfect for short or longer walks – or just for a pretty and relaxing view from the terrace. Gianni and Tanya were really nice and went out of their way to help us in every way - we could not have hoped for better hosts. We recommend this wonderful place without reservation and hope to return there ourselves one day. Jan and Lene, Denmark

One of my most beautiful holidays

Excellent location in Alberobello countryside!! Privacy guaranteed, at less than 2 km from the Mythic Historic Trulli's area. Fully equipped from furniture to facilities such as air conditioning as well as cooking tools and good BBQ in the covered patio. Nothing is missing all comforts are available. Relax guaranteed on the poolside at sunset or watching the stars at night... but you can taste the fantastic local food within few km range. I would recommend this place to anybody who likes nature, privacy, comfort and history, besides dealing with details caring and warm owners. Well done to Gianni and Tanya Raffaele

A lovely vacation home

We stayed at the House of the Two Pines for a memorable week in September together with two other couples and can highly recommend it. The property presented itself very nicely with a large yard beautifully landscaped with olive and fruit trees and hidden amongst them a pretty pool. The gardens two large fig tress supplied wonderful ripe figs. The house itself was charming, well equipped, very clean and functional. The hosts were very good at presenting the property and responded quickly to two very small problems. In fact, they gave us terrific recommendations for our daily tours. Two outstanding restaurants: Trattoria Terra Madra, Piazza Sacramenti, Alberobello, and Masseria Il Frantoio, Ostuni.

Home away from Home

We had a really great time at this beautiful place. The house is huge, but very cosy and we instantly felt at home. The garden with the pool is a dream and very peaceful and quiet. Our kids loved it to climb into the olivetrees. You definitely need a car, but it´s worth to drive around. Our highlights were Polignano a Mare, Ostuni, Matera and of course Alberobello. Tanya and Gianni were great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. We had to use the heater for a couple of days, but even with the very high ceilings it was always warm and comfy. The only "bad" thing I have to say is: some small sharp knifes in the kitchen would be great ;). Everything else is perfect. Go there!

Fantastic Location

This is a wonderful property, the hosts Gianni and Tanya are very welcoming and were always able to help. They are the perfect hosts. The property is located very close to Alberello, (5 mins drive) and the town of Locorotondo, (10 mins drive) Both have a good choice of restaurants, shops and attractions are well worth the visit. Locorotondo especially in the evening has a wonderful Italian community feel to it. Also being located in the middle the beaches and ports are a 30- 40 min drive in both directions The property it self has everything you need. We went as a family of 9 with 4 teenagers and there was plenty of space for everyone. The property is large with plenty of seating and areas for everyone. The pool and gardens are lovely with fruit trees and flowers. Plenty of parking. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and had everything. The property is beautifully decorated with lots of quirky touches which makes it feel comfortable and you find something new to look at everyday. Thank you Gianni and Tanya for a perfect holiday. We will be back.

Magic Christmas in an unforgettable abode

Again, thanks for the nice atmosphere that you have reserved in your beautiful house in Alberobello. I spent Christmas with my family and we will remember it with great joy. The house was cozy and very warm. All around, the garden was well-kept. We won’t forget the beautiful walks between countryside alleys and the mild climate, although we were in December! Alberobello reminds me of a Christmas nativity scene with lots of lights illuminating the stone roofs. We visited some small towns, such as Polignano, Ostuni and others whose names I cannot reckon, but each of them beautifully designed. We ate very well! The Christmas desserts that the hosts offered upon our arrival were excellent. Thanks again for your hospitality. Definitely to go back! Charlie B

Unforgettable holiday in a dream home!

It has been a wonderful holiday. Puglia is worth much more than a week's stay. There are so many little towns to visit. The "House of the two pines" is located close to many of these wonderful boroughs. Myself and my family spent some unforgettable days. The property is very comfortable, clean and well furnished. The garden is large and very nice. There are some beautiful and quiet corners where to read a good book or enjoy the warmth of the sun shade of olive trees. I will remember with pleasure the barbecue and the nights spent under the porch to admire the starry sky. A special thanks to the owners Gianni and Tanya for the warm reception and availability. We have appreciated a lot the welcome basket with the excellent “orecchiette" (shell shaped homemade typical pasta) and the delicate olive oil. Bye Alberobello. We hope to come back and enjoy the beautiful swimming pool next time! Julia

A lovely house and pool with helpful hosts

This was my second stay here with a new group of friends who were as impressed as me. The location is convenient just 1 mile from Alberobello and shops and 30 minutes to the seaside. You can even walk to town though the lanes are quite busy. There's lots of room to park too. It is quiet and pretty. The house is comfortable with well equipped bathrooms and kitchen as well as TV and good wi-fi. The pool is nice with comfy loungers and the extensive grade is very private. Our hosts kindly ensure that the kitchen has all the basics like oil, spices, salt, washing up and dishwasher soaps, There's also nice shower gel and shampoo. They also greeted us with wine and local cheeses, fruit and delicious biscuits. In fact they think of everything including maps and guidebooks. Any problem will be solved and advice given though we did resort to Google translate as our Italian is non-existent. A lovely friendly old dog and some pretty cats also keep an eye on guests. Highly recommended for a comfy stay.

Visit before it becomes impossible to book!

This is an amazing place - clean, modern but with much charm. It's light and airy, and I can imagine that if you've got a big group, you could stay here without falling over each other. We are just a family of four and stayed here during the hot summer. We had a great time, picking fresh figs for breakfast, exploring the local area and coast, and spending days by the pool. (the pool is just perfect for cooling down) You definitely need a car to explore the area, and it's well worth exploring. Dining out in the local towns at night is fun, and we'd recommend heading out to Locorontondo and Cisterino, both slightly east of Alberobello. Our hosts, Tanya and Gianni, were wonderful, and I felt I knew them both well from our emails before we actually got out to Italy! A welcome basket and the knowledge that we could call them if we needed anything (we didn't!) made our stay most enjoyable. Part of me doesn't want to recommend this place, because I want it all to myself next year! But I guess that wouldn't be fair on everyone else. Go before it becomes impossible to book.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home

We had a wonderful holiday at this beautiful villa. The location is so peaceful - very quiet and rural, we enjoyed strolling through the lanes at the back of the house - but a short drive from Alberobello. The house has everything you could wish for, with a lovely outside eating area with barbecue and a well maintained garden (including a hammock, very popular with the children!) and a lovely pool. The owners, Giovanni and Tanya, could not have been more gracious. They were absolutely charming - their welcome basket (including Tanya's aunt's homemade tomato sauce, locally made smelt pasta and mozzarella cheese, fresh oregano, olive oil, local pastries...) was indicative of hosts who were hospitable to the last. They met us from the airport, a nice touch, and were available whenever we needed them (luckily for us since we managed to lock ourselves out of the house - entirely our fault and Giovanni had to drive from an hour away with the spare key, and yet he apologised to us for the inconvenience!) Alberobello is a charming town with many pretty towns nearby, some spectacular caves and the sea about 25 minutes away. I would recommend the area and the house unreservedly. Nikki, London.

Masks, gorgeous food and a beautiful house

What a magic! Myself and my family enjoyed an unusual show. Alberobello and the Trulli covered by a blanket of snow white and fluffy. A show within the show given the hillside location of the house that has hosted us: the "House of the two pines". Inside the house the temperature was ideal, the children were very well. So much space inside and outside! Every comfort is ensured. Nothing is missing in the house and the spaces are ideal, especially for those with children. Cleanliness and hospitality are guaranteed by the owners that are friendly and willing to give any information possible. Beautiful Carnival of Putignano. The parade is great fun! So many good things to eat. I have tried the "chiacchiere", a typical sweet prepared during the carnival days, very good! We want to go back in the summer. The "House of the two pines" will also have a swimming pool ..... what more to ask for! See you soon. Graham L.

Lovely location, large outdoor cooking/dining, good for kids

We visited with our two boys, aged 4 and 1, and there were 7 of us in total. The house is lovely with one bedroom having the domed Trulli ceiling. The greatest feature is the wonderfully large outdoor dining area with both cooker and BBQ. The house has 5 bedrooms (one which is a mezzanine) with 2 ensuites and one separate Bathroom. It was easy to work with young children - the swimming pool is at a short distance and there is gate that can be closed off between the house and the pool. There are no baths (if you’re used to your kids bathing each night), but our 2 were fine in the showers. There are an incredible number of day trips that can be taken - zoosafari, acquapark (water park), caves (we went to the smaller Grotta Del Trullo with our 4 year old....NOT suitable for a baby with the steps), stunning beaches, and plentiful towns. We especially enjoyed a trip to Grottaglie to see the ceramics quarter. Tanya was particularly helpful during our stay - our flight was delayed and we arrived very late at night, she kindly had some food laid out at the house. There was a slight language barrier organising the trip, but overall a really lovely holiday and certainly a beautiful area of Italy definitely worth a visit.

The perfect holiday home near Alberobello

We are a group of 6 friends with 2 dogs and it is not very easy to find a suitable holiday home with 3 or more bedrooms and where dogs are allowed. We have travelled many times to Italy an we were always lucky with our choice. But the house of the 3 pines ist the "Jackpot" of all holiday homes we have had. The house was very clean an well equipped. Additionally to the kitchen you have an outdoor kitchen with two refrigerators, enough room for cool beverages. We had a problem with the dishwasher and a short time later it was repaired by a technician. The huge garden round the house is amazing. You are surrounded of olive trees with many beautiful places to sit down an drink a glass of wine. The fotos on the website are no cheap promises. Go there and see it in reality. Dreamlike holidays await you. A word to the hosts. Here ist a sentence of an email from Tanya. "We remember you with great affection and sympathy, we hope that the holiday in Puglia will long remain in your hearts. We will have a indelible memory of all of you." Same to you Tanya and Gianni...
