Ready to experience all of the beauty and adventure that the north shore of Kaua’i has to offer? Stay at our spectacular Ohana Anini beach house with breathtaking ocean views, gentle trade winds, and air conditioning in the bedrooms. Brand new renovation!
This new, beautifully decorated beach home is literally steps to the sand with an unobstructed view of the beach and water from the home. It sits in a most desirable location on Anini Beach which boasts the longest and widest fringing reef in the Hawaiian Islands.
This gorgeous home features wide open living spaces. You have a fully appointed Gourmet kitchen, spacious dining area and comfortable living areas with vaulted wood-beamed ceilings. This open floor plan is illuminated by picture windows facing the ocean. Colorful coastal accents are found throughout the home, letting you enjoy a quite luxurious beach lifestyle.
The 4 large bedrooms are all en-suite. The comfy beds are dressed with quality crisp organic linens and abundant hypoallergenic pillows. Two first floor primary bedrooms with King beds, one bunkroom with bunk beds (2 Full size bottom mattresses and 2 Twin top mattresses) and on the second floor, with windows facing the ocean, there is a large, private bedroom with two Queen beds.
The dining room comfortably seats 10 guests and is complete with indoor and outdoor tableware and utensils. The outdoor lanai has sweeping views of the shimmering ocean and is a great place to dine as well. The back yard has a large gas barbecue, and you can dine inside or alfresco on the covered lanai and enjoy our gentle trade winds and Hawaiian beach views.
Bring your family and friends to the Ohana Anini vacation home and make lasting memories together.
You are on Anini beach and 10 minutes to our newly revitalized Kilauea Town with great food and boutique shopping. Our quaint, bohemian surf town of Hanalei is 15 minutes up the road with more unique mom & pop shops, delicious food and the famous Hanalei Bay. Princeville is even closer with grocery, restaurants, shops, and golf.
This home is extremely popular, reservations well in advance are highly recommended.

This is a Mana Kaua'i Island Vacations home and we follow many practices that support regenerative tourism. We do the work so you don't have to.

This transient vacation rental is located in the tsunami evacuation zone.

The Administrative Fee is subject to change based on the number of nights booked and dates of travel.

For reservations 14 or more nights a mid-stay clean is required every 14 nights and the fee will be added to all reservations.

Beautiful Family Vacation

We had an amazing family vacation, enjoying the reefs and snorkeling amongst all the sea life. We saw turtles every day, wales migrating in the mornings with provided binoculars and we even saw a monk seal returning from a trip out to the Napali coast. The house was set up perfectly for cooking meals in and we enjoyed all the comforts of home away from home. The beds were very comfortable and it was a great location to enjoy Hanalei Bay and surrounding areas. We really enjoyed visiting the small town of Kilauea and had some great meals at the gatro pub and the bistro. We will come back and look to stay again on beautiful Anini beach!

A wonderful family beach getaway

Beautiful home on Anini Beach. A simple walk across a not very busy street to a calm lagoon of a beach. Perfect for little ones getting used to swimming in the ocean! The snorkeling was also phenomenal. We went every day.

perfect family vacation

the house was beautiful, well stocked, spacious. the deck was wonderful and of course the location on the beach was lovely. we had a fabulous time. the reef provided a place for the younger kids to play with out waves. we took the older ones down the road a bit to catch some waves.

Magical Location

The property is newly renovated. It is set up perfectly for a beach vacation. Long walks down the beach are out your door, toys are in the garage for beach fun, sunsets are stunning from the porch, and the large porch and generous living space make it perfect for when the Kauai rainstorms swoop In. The bedrooms, kitchen, and porch have newer furnishings and everything you would need is supplied. You will need a car as dinners, shopping, other beaches will require a 15-30 minute drive. If you have a larger group, two cars would be important as it does rain frequently on this island and if you want to chase the sun or go kayaking or on a tour, the people back at the house will not have civilization accessible by foot. The beach and quiet are the best part of this home, but a second car could be important for a group of adults. My group worked from here and Wi-Fi and tv access were no problem.

Perfect location, lovely home

We had a truly magical time at Ohana Anini. The location couldn't be more perfect for families -- you just walk across a one-lane street into the ocean. The water is warm and the beach is one of the most beautiful I've even seen. If you and your guests just love being at the beach and relaxing at home, this house can't be beat. The home is perfectly situated to look out at the water, and it's on a quiet and less frequently traveled strip of this very long (and almost always calm) beach. As a house it's comfortable and well-appointed. The bedrooms were a great size, the porch was an outdoor room unto itself, and the kitchen was nicely stocked with the equipment a family would want if they planned to cook a lot at the house. We were a group of 7 people but the house could have easily slept 9 or 10 very comfortably if children are part of the mix. The clothes dryer was occasionally temperamental and would need a few trys to get started, and there were a few windows that couldn't open in some of the bedrooms -- but honestly, other than that, it's a great house in a truly spectacular location. Spectacular home. The hype is warranted

So many positive reviews of this home, I am not sure I have much to add. I read all the reviews, and my expectations were high. The home is lovely and met expectations all around. As others have mentioned, the kitchen is extremely well stocked with every gadget/device (even a Lomi!). The garage has every water toy/ snorkel/ sun shade you could need, and a 2nd fridge. And the beds/ pillows were super comfy and high quality. But the star of the show (by far) is the front porch. When not on the beach, we were all hanging on the front lanai. We enjoyed pink sunrises, double rainbows, and tangerine sunsets. It could not be more breathtaking. A few mentions: the home has stunning soft wood floors. They really are exquisite but also delicate, and the rules about the flooring honestly had me a bit paranoid. Plan to bring slippers. The wifi worked well during the day for zoom calls. a/c worked well in the BRs, it was warm in Sept. No a/c in the kitchen but good breeze. Lastly (more the neighborhood vibe) car camping, day and night, is allowed along Anini Road (or if there is a rule against it, it is widely ignored) . We had a mini van camp in front of the house for three days. And there was another camper in front of the home next door. They were very respectful and we had no problems. And just a tip, if you're looking for a boat tour, the Napali Sea Breeze leaves from the boat ramp 2 min away. Basically roll out of bed. Super convenient! Fantastic week.

This house is amazing, and was perfect for our family of 11. Kids and grands alike! Having immediate and simple access to the beach made the vacation. It's nicely appointed with everything a family needs in the kitchen, the bedrooms were beautiful and quiet, and the outdoor shower was very helpful. Joanne was incredibly responsive, even sending someone over to us when we didn't know how something worked. We highly recommend this place and are planning to stay here again next year!

First of all, the home was perfect for a big family. Each En Suite bedroom was roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The living area was a perfect pile up conversation pit for our crew, plus a game table was nice. The 2 dining tables for 10 were perfect. The very best part of this place was the windows. Most of the rooms have wrap around tall windows for beach views everywhere. The hosts were intermittently responsive and seemed unaware of some home specifics, were they local? We rented several items (beach, baby equipment) because they stated they were not in the house. We found found lots of extras in the house (3 pack and plays) and garage (snorkels, beach chairs) that the host never mentioned in response to our questions. Also there is a fairly busy road between the house and the beach. The host said it was only traveled by a few folks living down beyond the house. "Anini Scenic Drive" is advertised from the highway and as a driving option at local resorts. So there were lots of sightseeing vehicles, many turning around in our driveway. We had cars parallel parked in front of the house most of the time on sunny days. Just full disclosure for folks that read reviews. Having said all of that, we'd still rent this rare Anini house if we needed to again. The house, the views, the beach were awesome, just a few issues for clarity for anyone considering this beach place.

This house was so much more than we could have even imagined!

The house was immaculate and so well stocked! The linens, the furniture and all the kitchen utensils were perfect and great quality. The communication and check in process was super easy! We loved the AC units in each room and the views and easy beach access from our front door. The photos do not do this property justice. It will take your breath away! We will definitely visit again.

Island Paradise!

This is a beautiful property on the most beautiful part of the island! The house was new, clean, and spacious enough for multiple families. There was lots of attention to detail, and the management was more than gracious, leaving extra supplies and necessities. Dealing with the property management was easy, and always pleasant! The location of the property was simply amazing. It is a quiet area with only a few steps between the house and the beach. The coral reef was beautiful, with amazing snorkeling. I loved that the house had ample beach equipment, chairs, snorkel gear, and paddle boards! We never had to rent gear, as it was all provided. We truly felt the attention to detail by the management was intentional in making it feel like this was our island home. Beautiful and immaculate home! We will be visiting again!

I'm scared to tell people how amazing this house was...

Because then the secret would be out! The pictures on the listing look amazing and they don't even capture how lovely, spacious, clean, and high quality the house is. We went with friends and their daughter and had plenty of room to spread out when desired and also to come together for meals, hangout time, etc. The furniture and beds are fantastic, the kitchen is very well appointed and had the best quality equipment (both appliances as well as utensils/tools/supplies) we've ever seen in a rental. For beachgoing, the toys in the garage were in great shape and the paddleboards were a huge hit and totally perfect for the beach out front! Speaking of -- seriously, you're a 45 second walk from the porch to a broad, shallow, sandy-bottom beach entry with protected wading and swimming on the north shore of Kauai; it doesn't get any better than that. We'll definitely try to be back!
