Wonderful Family Reunion

This place is an awesome place to spend time at. The backyard area and dock are perfect, relaxing, and incredibly beautiful. Doug and Clay have done a wonderful job of taking care of this property. Access to rentals for water fun is super easy and so is the access to town for groceries. The views are stunning and the outside covered eating area makes eating meals very enjoyable. I highly recommend this property!!

Excellent Place for a Family

This was the best equipped VRBO/AirB&B that we've had. The kitchen had many extra spices, oil, and general cooking needs. The many "toys" were well used and added to the stay. The owner was very responsive to any of our needs and offered good advise for the surrounding area. The view and setting are great.

Amazing Family Vacation!!

We recently returned from a wonderful weeklong stay at this truly special property. We had a party of 8 people. My husband, myself, our 4 adult sons (ages 22-34) and two of the boys' girlfriends. We were warmly welcomed by our host Clay upon arrival with a detailed tour of the house and property. Clay's parents, Doug and Linda are the owners and they live next door. Their warmth and hospitality is reflected everywhere on the property. Since they were close by it was easy to ask questions if we needed them. They were super responsive. As far as the basics (which are super important for a rental): Beds and bedding were very comfortable and of high quality. Towels and beach towels were also abundant and of high quality. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of dishes, pots. pans, knives, cutlery and glasses (both glass and plastic). All the appliances were in excellent condition. The nearby small town of Polson was a short drive away and had all the supplies we needed. All that said, the very best part of the house was the covered patio, backyard and lakefront dock and of course, the lake! We enjoyed spectacular views from morning til night. We ate all our meals outside, either on the covered patio or by the lake. We all took advantage of the myriad of "toys" plus enjoyed the sauna and hot tub as well. It was incredibly relaxing--like staying at your own private resort. The lake is stunning with crystal clear water. Although it was supposedly a busy time of year, it was very quiet with no boat or jet ski traffic to speak of. The serenity of the property was enhanced Linda's (Clay's mom) beautiful English garden and the sound of the waterfall it contained. The garden was adorned by the very special birdhouses built by Clay's dad, Doug. We have stayed at many great VRBO properties, but the whole family agreed that this was one of our very best experiences and we hope to return to enjoy it again!

Amazing Retreat on Flathead Lake

Wow! We are already looking forward to coming back next summer. Thank you for an amazing stay. We can not say enough great things about this property. It is very spacious inside and out. We spent most of our time outside ... on one of the many water toys (paddle boards, kayaks, peddle boats), on our own ski boat that we safely docked for the week at the house, fishing with the fishing equipment provided, enjoying a fire in the fire pit and making s'mores, playing yard games on the beautifully manicured lawn, star gazing, or just relaxing and reading. There are lots of fun amenities inside as well, but the weather was so amazing and there was so much to do that we were never inside, except to cook and sleep. Thanks again!

The Wold Lodge is located with fantastic lake and mountain views and is equipped unbelievably well for the enjoyment of all age groups from young children to grandparents! Family Re-union Sized

Doug Wold, and his family were the perfect hosts. Doug showed me how to use the smoker, and told me where I could buy local brisket. We made a fantastic brisket, and fed our whole group with it. There was room for three couples on the upper level, ( one of the couples had two pre-schoolers with them) and three more downstairs. We also had two other couples, who stayed in motels, join us, and there was more than ample room for everyone. The amenities are far too many to list here. After driving through all of the smoke from the Western wildfires, a couple of short rainshowers cleared the skies for us, and showed us why Montana is called Big Sky Country. We want to come back, and probably will. September on the Lake is wonderful, and so is this place.

Beautiful lake front property that is well equipped with all essentials for a relaxing stay. Showing some wear but areas of exception for us included the hot tub sauna & swim spa for the teens and the large covered patio with seating for our group of 15 for every meal. The patio has a beautiful view of the lake & gardens and a ceiling fan absolutely priceless for the high temperatures during our stay. We loved our stay!

Flathead is spectacular!

This house is set up so well for kids. Many nice onsite amenities; pool, hot tub,rafts, paddle boards, watercraft and a great boat dock with slides and swing. House is very well appointed and can handle large family groups. Owner /manager was very accommodating. We would return.

As fourth-generation Montanans and a third-generation Flathead Lake family, we wanted to raise our three young children on the water. This property offered a sizeable private setting on Baypoint with two acres of lawn and a seven-bedroom home to fill with friends and family.

Over the last 40 years, we have enjoyed this property immensely, watching our three children grow up, get married, and start their own families. We look forward to sharing this property with others so they can build once-in-a-lifetime memories with their friends and families.

Why they chose this property

Our Flathead Lake Retreat sits one one of the three pristine Polson Bay Points. We have 270-degree views of stunning sunrises over the Mission Mountains and equally as beautiful sunsets. My wife, a master gardener, and I have enjoyed building, planting, and growing the eight flower gardens, creeks, ponds, and waterfalls over the last 40 years.

What makes this property unique

Our home is the only vacation rental available on the lake with seven bedrooms that sleeps 20 with a two-acre manicured lawn, eight gorgeous gardens designed by a master gardener, a hot tub, a sauna, and a swim spa. It also has a large partially covered deck overlooking the front lawn and five flower gardens. A built-in BBQ area, dock, fire pit, and private beach and dock. It is perfect for family gatherings and retreats for the young and old alike.
