It was meticulously rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake under the direction of the Marquês de Pombal, giving it the nickname Baixa Pombalina. The district is laid out in a grid pattern, with wide, elegant streets lined with traditional Portuguese tile facades, historic buildings, and charming squares.

Praça do Comércio: A grand riverside square with views of the Tagus River, surrounded by yellow buildings and crowned by the Arco da Rua Augusta, a monumental arch that leads into the city.

Rossio Square: One of the liveliest squares, with wavy patterned tiles, fountains, and the iconic D. Maria II National Theatre. This is a great spot to enjoy a coffee or pastel de nata.

￫ The property is self-catered. Basic items are provided for your arrival, including hygiene products for the first day, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered as a courtesy only - replacements or replenishments are not included.
￫ Bed linen and towels are provided according to the number of confirmed guests in your reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, an additional bed and bath kit will be provided free of charge at check-in.
￫The cleaning fee included in your reservation covers only the check-out cleaning. Extra cleanings or additional linen exchanges can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
￫Check-in starts at 14:00 and check-out must be done by 11:00. Upon departure, please place the keys inside the lockbox.
￫ During your stay, the guest is responsible for the proper use and safekeeping of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving the keys in the lock or mailbox. In case of technical assistance needed for door opening or in case of damage to the keys and/or lock, the costs resulting from this service will be borne by the guest. In situations of key loss, a penalty will apply.
￫ The property is equipped with noise level monitoring sensors. This system performs advanced analysis, ensuring the privacy of our guests as no cameras are used and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus ensuring the tranquility and comfort of everyone during their stay.

￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly consumption above €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.
