The cottage is situated with a spectacular view over to the outer Isles and also Dunvegan Head,with lovely walks in and around the area. A beautiful cottage to relax and unwind.. Ground Floor:

Woodburn Cottage is a charming two-bedroom retreat set in the peaceful crofting township of Ardmore on the Waternish peninsula, one of the most unspoilt corners of the Isle of Skye. Surrounded by open skies and wide seascapes, the cottage enjoys truly stunning views overlooking Trumpan, Dunvegan Head and the distant Outer Isles, creating an ever-changing backdrop of light, weather and colour throughout the day.
Inside, the cottage is bright, comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area forms the heart of the home, making it easy to cook, relax and spend time together. Patio doors lead directly from the living space out into the large, enclosed garden, a wonderful spot for morning coffee, evening sunsets or simply watching seabirds and the shifting sea beyond. The garden is ideal for families, offering space to relax while taking in the expansive views.
Upstairs, the first floor hosts two inviting bedrooms. The kingsize bedroom is perfect for unwinding after a day exploring, while the twin room provides a flexible and comfortable option for children or additional guests. On the ground floor, a shower room offers convenience, particularly after a long walk or a day spent outdoors.
Woodburn Cottage is perfectly placed for exploring Skye both on foot and by car. From the doorstep, quiet roads and coastal paths invite gentle walks, with opportunities to spot seals, seabirds and dramatic sunsets along the Waternish coastline. Nearby Trumpan Church and the surrounding headlands offer short, scenic walks steeped in history. By car, you can explore Dunvegan Castle and its famous gardens, take a boat trip to see seals or see Neist Point Lighthouse, or head to the Coral Beach for a unique shoreline walk.
Further afield, Skye’s iconic sights are easily reached for day trips, including the Quiraing, Fairy Pools, Neist Point lighthouse and the Cuillin mountains.
