Follow the grand stone steps at the castle's entrance to the private front door of the apartment. This hideaway is arranged over two levels, with the living spaces on the upper level and the bedrooms downstairs, providing plenty of room to unwind and enjoy separate living and sleeping areas. Step inside to a welcoming hallway, ideal for storing walking boots, beach gear or coats, before continuing into the spacious, light-filled living and dining area. Large windows frame sweeping sea views, while comfortable sofas invite you to unwind. Entertainment includes a TV, DVD player, iPod dock and CD player, with WiFi available throughout the apartment.
The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped for all your self-catering needs, featuring a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, freezer and electric cooker. Whether you are preparing a picnic for the beach or a leisurely dinner, everything you need is close at hand. The two bedrooms are located downstairs. The main bedroom has a double bed, an en-suite shower room, with a WC and views into the beautiful sunken gardens. The second bedroom offers twin beds that can be converted into a double upon request, ideal for couples or children. A stylish family bathroom with bath, toilet and basin completes the accommodation.
Outside, you will find beautifully landscaped, sunken formal gardens with extensive lawns, sub-tropical planting and an ornamental fish pond. The front door opens directly onto this magical setting. Cleverly placed benches let you sit and take in the coastal views, east toward Cudden Point and west toward St Michael's Mount, Penzance and Mousehole. The gardens are shared with the other apartments in the castle, but there are private sections throughout, perfect for your morning coffee, afternoon reading or sunset drinks.
