We were a group of three ladies who came for the Indian Wells tennis tournament. Susan was a wonderful host and promptly responded to our inquiries. The home had plenty of space for the three of us, with generous kitchen and bathroom supplies. I appreciated Susan's instructions, which were detailed and specific. Wish we'd had time for the spa but watching tennis kept us busy. Great experience.

Martha,
Thank you so much for your kind review. We really try hard to meet our guests expectations. I am so happy that you got to enjoy time with your girlfriends. Its the best!!!
Safe travels,
Susan
My family and I had a great experience at this perfect getaway. Susan was an excellent host, responsive and accommodating. The house was very clean and spacious with a touch of home, including amenities like a hot tub, a pool for cooling down, and a bbq. We felt as if we were staying at a friends house!
The neighborhood is a quiet oasis centered amidst the ridge lined mountains. A quick 15 minute drive to Indian Wells for some great tennis. Coming back to this lovely home was a great comfort.
I would highly recommend this vacation getaway for a slice of desert imagery and its gracious host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our month in Susan’s cute and comfortable house in La Quinta Cove. The listing was totally accurate and she was super easy to deal with. She answered every question and made helpful suggestions about dining and things to do in the area. Absolutely everything you can think of was supplied (in the kitchen and laundry and bathrooms) and in quantities great enough for our month long stay. We ate more than half of our meals at the house and found everything we needed to cook and serve, including some spices. All of the Cove trails are convenient to the house and we really enjoyed our hikes. There are dozens of places to eat and shop within 1-2 miles from the house. Our weather could have been better but we used the jacuzzi a handful of times and it was very relaxing. We knew in advance that the pool was not heated so, obviously, we didn’t use it. Only request would be for a second lounge chair by the pool and more lights for reading in the living room.
Thank you Susan. You and your house were fantastic and we will definitely keep your house in mind for future trips to the area.
Susan’s property was extremely cozy. My friends and I were very impressed when we walked in. We felt comfortable being there and would choose it again for our future stays in the area.

Somewhat disappointed!!
We have stayed at many vacation rentals in the Palm Desert area over the last 20 years, at all times for a month. Although we love the La Quinta area, we were not overly impressed with this residential area in which the house was situated. Although the house was neat and tidy there were far too many knickknacks and the furniture, especially the outdoor furniture was very tired. A couple of our guests incurred some scrapes on the back of their legs due to some open metal. The owners were quick to reply to inquiries we had about the house but it took nine days to fix the hot tub and the pool was never heated which was a major inconvenience to us. The dishwasher’s bottom rack never worked properly and at one point during the first week of our stay the garburator piping came apart and created a very large flood under the sink, to which we fixed ourselves very quickly. The residence did not meet our expectations for the price we paid.

We always try to accommodate our guests at the highest level and meet their expectations. We like to give good reviews but with this inaccurate review we feel it necessary to address each item. Google earth, google maps etc. are wonderful tools to check out neighborhoods when one decides to rent a home on VRBO, especially for a month. You can zoom the neighborhood, specific homes, back yards etc.. It’s all there. The pictures that are posted on the VRBO site of our home are exactly the way the house is in person. This is a first that we have ever been told there are far too many Knickknacks. Again, there is absolutely no hiding. You can see what you are getting on the site. Our furniture may not suit this guests style but surly our furniture is not tired. There is absolutely no metal that is exposed. We have young grandchildren and their safety as well as our guests is very important to us. Regarding the pool, it is clearly stated on the VRBO site that the pool is not heated nor is heating the pool permitted. It would be very costly to heat it each day and these guests are already concerned about price. The spa was working perfectly the day that guests checked in. The default temperature is set to 101 degrees for the safety of our guests and children. It is clearly stated on the entry instructions how to operate the spa and remote. These guests tried to reprogram the remote to change the temperature to what they wanted which caused the whole system to not work properly. We even accommodated these guests by having our spa man over to the house at 7:30 pm to check the system. Unfortunately, things happen unexpectedly but the spa was still usable for the 9 days at 97 degrees. It was not able to reach the guests preferred temp. so we absorbed the cost of the gas use for all of those days that the spa didn’t reach 104. Our system was replaced less than a year ago and our spa man told use there was clearly user error that started this whole thing. Regarding the dishwashers bottom rack that’s just the way our Bosh dishwasher has been since it was bought 2 years ago. Regarding the garbage disposal, we appreciate that the guests took the time to fix the piping, however, this has never been a problem and it was never mentioned to us that this happened.
This property was lovely and ideal for a group of 6 or 8. The location is great, just a few minutes away from old town. House was super clean and adorably decorated. Really spacious living room and kitchen areas. Outdoor patio & pool area were also nicely decorated and perfect whether you want to be in the pool or chill out in the shade. We had a super fun time, would definitely rent this property again!
House was comfortable, clean and well stocked. The neighborhood was a little denser than we anticipated, but it was still a nice bike ride into Old Town La Quinta. Susan was always available and was able to walk us thru a couple of issues, mainly operator error on our part. The only complaint would be lack of BBQ implements. Would recommend the house .
The La Quinta house is well appointed for a getaway. The owner was very helpful in accommodating our last minute reservation request and quick to reply to any correspondence.

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay. We welcome you again to stay with us.
Couldn't say enough nice things about the owners. They were very responsive to our inquiries, worked with us when our flights were cancelled due to snow, and made it a very wonderful experience. Would highly recommend staying at the property, the pool and spa were great, kids and us had a great time.
The home was perfect for our needs. Well appointed and the kitchen had everything we could have asked for. Back yard with multiple seating areas and Pool and hot tub provided opportunities for group chats as well. We would definitely return.

Steve and his family were wonderful guests that we would love to host again. They took great care of our home, followed all instructions and easy to communicate with.
We had a lovely time at this home. Very clean, well-maintained property, in a nice quiet neighborhood.. The close proximity to Old Town LaQuinta was great for restaurants. Our favorite part was the backyard and pool -- a completely private, lovely oasis. Weather was unseasonably warm for October, so we didn't use the Hot Tub, but the pool was great.
There were only two of us, but I think this place would be great for two or three couples, or a family.
Very clear check-in directions and great communication from the owner. Kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with everything you could need. We would definitely stay in this property again.
This was the perfect retreat for our family! The property is beautiful, inside and out. You feel like you are at a resort! It is in immaculate condition and well stocked with high-end dishes, glasses, and towels just to highlight a few of its incredible features. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day and spent most evenings cooking in the generously sized kitchen. The Wi-Fi is excellent which was an important element to be able to work remotely during our stay.
Susan, the owner, was responsive, knowledgeable, and provided clear instructions with grace and hospitality. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you!
