The apartment is part of the Grade II listed, 300+ year old Marygate Building, converted in 2021. Located opposite the Town Hall building, it originally served as the Officers’ Accommodation, pre-dating the famous Berwick Barracks.
The suite has been sympathetically updated giving a personal charm whilst adhering to the distinguished heritage of the building. It imbues classic style with a quirky twist to ooze the senses to unwind and indulge. The suite has all usual facilities in the most stylish form. Large open living room with exceptional décor and dressing, and the kitchen is fully integrated with all appliances. The voluminous bedroom is truly a theatre of luxury. It combines elegance with the spectacular. You can kickback and unwind in the enormous polished copper bath and be absorbed into the huge super kingsize quilted bed. All to inspire a cherished memory and a yearning to return.
Surrounding the town of Berwick, leaving the historical centre behind, take a trip to one of the coast’s more scenic beaches around Goswick to the south or spend the day in awe at Bamburgh Castle. The stunning Scottish Borders are moments away by car and have some of the most stunning scenes in the country and some outdoors activities for the adrenaline junkie. Edinburgh and Newcastle are both accessible by road and rail in around an hour and both cities are worth visiting.
