There are three bedrooms, one is a double with an en-suite shower room and toilet and there are a further two twin bedrooms. The bathroom has a shower over bath and a toilet. There is plenty to do in and around the lodge site, set within the Great Glen.
Ramble through the magnificent solitude of Scottish Glens and hills or up onto the slopes for a fine day’s skiing; try the many golf courses or fish the promising waters. Onsite, there is year-round access to Loch Oich and in high season, there is a water sports company on site offering multiple activities. You can access guided fishing trips and walks locally to assist your exploration of the beautiful Highlands. Passing behind the site is The Great Glen Way, a coast-to-coast route for walkers and cyclists from Fort William to Inverness along the banks of the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness.
There is so much to do and see in the area, visiting castles, whisky trails, craft centres, museums, wildlife parks, nature reserves. Just 8 miles away, is the small Highland village of Fort Augustus on the most southern tip of Loch Ness, and with the Caledonian Canal running through the village to Loch Ness. A wonderful place to relax, watch the boats go through the locks, with many places to eat and drink and shop. Fort William, the outdoor capital of the Highlands, home to the Nevis range ski centre is about a 30-minute drive away.
