Casa de Vessadas offers a comfortable and well-equipped space, ideal for those looking to switch off in a rural mountain landscape.

The living room is a welcoming space with a comfortable sofa, television and everything you need to relax after a day of outdoor activities. The fully equipped kitchen features a hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and toaster — perfect for preparing your own meals. A dining table is available for shared meals.

The property has two bedrooms, both with double beds and shutters for privacy and light control. One bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom. There is a second guest bathroom.

The property also has a shared laundry area.

Internet service is available with limitations, suitable only for basic use such as browsing and messaging — it may not be suitable for video streaming, video calls or remote work.

An outdoor area is also available for guests to enjoy the surrounding natural landscape and for parking.

All beds come with quality bed linen to ensure maximum comfort.

The bathroom is fully equipped with towels and personal care products for your convenience.

The space is always professionally cleaned.

Please note that access to the accommodation involves climbing stairs and is therefore not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

Located in the picturesque parish of Venade, this accommodation is an authentic retreat in the heart of Alto Minho. The neighbourhood is defined by rural serenity, local hospitality and total immersion in nature — the perfect place to slow down, escape the fast pace of city life, wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy the lush green landscapes that define this region.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the location is a true paradise. Surrounded by stunning trails, you can explore the slopes of Serra de Arga on foot or by bike, or enjoy activities such as kayaking and paddleboarding on the calm waters of the nearby Rio Coura. In just 10 minutes by car, the scenery shifts from the green of the countryside to the blue of the Atlantic, giving you access to incredible beaches: the famous Moledo Beach (a top spot for surfing and windsurfing, with privileged views of Forte da Ínsua) and the beautiful Caminha Beach, where the Minho River meets the sea.

Despite the rural peace, the accommodation is excellently located near vibrant urban centres. Less than 10 minutes away, you'll find the stunning historic centre of Caminha — a medieval town buzzing with life around the iconic Praça Conselheiro Silva Torres and the Clock Tower, with a wide choice of terraces, tapas bars and excellent restaurants serving local cuisine and the region's famous Vinho Verde.

This is also a strategic base for exploring other key destinations in the North. The charming "Village of the Arts", Vila Nova de Cerveira, is just 15 minutes away. Around 30 minutes from the property, you can admire the Sanctuary of Santa Luzia in Viana do Castelo or visit the imposing fortress of Valença. And for an international day trip, simply hop on the ferry in Caminha or cross the bridge at Cerveira to explore Galicia (Spain) and enjoy tapas in A Guarda.

Casa de Vessadas is located in a rural area, so having a car is the most practical and recommended option for getting around.

The nearest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro (Porto), approximately 1h15 by car. Galicia (Spain) is easily accessible by ferry from Caminha (connecting to La Guardia) or by car via the bridge at Vila Nova de Cerveira.

This is a property with automatic check-in and you will be asked to verify your identity before being able to check in to the apartment (15:00).

We ask all guests to fill in a registration form that will be sent after the booking confirmation, which is in accordance with the legal obligations stipulated by the local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g. smell of tobacco, ash, cigarette butts, etc.), we reserve the right to charge a fee of at least €200 EUR.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy for utilities will apply with an included limit of €80.

For the first days, we provide the following basic amenities: small containers of shower gel, shampoo and soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dish soap and a bin bag.

Extra keys: €20 (extra set when possible, lost keys or door opening service).
Extra cleaning: price of a cleaning fee.
Extra linen: €30 (towels and bed linen for 2 people, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
