We welcome you to stay at The Cowshed, a newly renovated one-bedroom retreat tucked away in the peaceful village of Longhope, Gloucestershire. This beautifully refreshed home blends countryside character with fresh, modern comfort, creating a cosy space that’s perfect for couples, solo travellers, or a relaxing rural escape!

Inside, you’ll find a bright and comfortable living room for unwinding after a day exploring the Forest of Dean and surrounding countryside, a well-equipped kitchen that’s ideal for easy meals at home and a little dining area, perfect for romantic evenings after a busy day of exploring!

We also have a welcoming bedroom designed for a restful night’s sleep and a stylish shower room. Thoughtful finishing touches run throughout the property, including luxurious Cowshed products to make your stay feel a little more indulgent.

Step outside and you’ll find a charming little courtyard, a lovely suntrap in the warmer months and a perfect spot for morning coffee or relaxed summer evenings.

Whether you’re here for walking trails, cosy pub lunches, or simply some quiet time in the countryside, The Cowshed offers a calm and comfortable place to return to at the end of the day!

Please note:
We verify your details before your booking can begin and this must be completed 48 hours prior to your stay. You’ll receive a secure link to our deposit, damage waiver and ID verification platform to complete this step. You’ll be given the choice between paying a fully refundable £300 deposit (with a small, non-refundable £5.00 fee to cover payment processing fees) or purchasing a non-refundable £30 damage waiver, which protects you against accidental damage up to £300 during your stay. Check-in information will only be sent once this is completed.
