Lovely apartment with everything required for our stay. Hosts were very accommodating and quick to reply to messages particularly with the short notice of our stay. Beautiful area of the country, would recommend this property for those looking for the peace and quiet of the country.
Lovely apartment as described. A much needed break away from busy life in beautiful quiet surroundings. Host very helpful and kind enough to check on me when they had not seen me about one day.
Heaven on earth .. what a beautiful place to go for a break away from everyday busy life .. wonderful friendly hosts.. sit out in the garden having coffee in the morning surrounded by nature, not even the sound of a distant car.... ross on wye and especially this place is such a wonderful location im hoping to return again soon
Lovely location with great views across to the Malverns. Located at edge of woods on a smallholding with sheep paddock behind accomodation in annex room above garage block. Very helpful and friendly hosts Mimi and Arthur. Nice woodland walks from the doorstep, would happily return if in the area again.
The property was ideal for what I needed it for and in the perfect location with plenty of locations for me to visit if I want it to, lovely views from the property each morning which made it all the better, I would happily stop there again when I’m next in the area

The host was absolutely amazing really helped me out after being in a bind and finding out how to get around, Eternally grateful. The property is very beautiful and well kept with a very nice kitchen and selection of movies. The view is to die for, nothing beats the morning sun that shines on the hills. 10/10 would recomend.
We had a lovely peaceful stay for our wedding anniversary and fishing so a great central location.. I second other guests that The Crown in Lea is a lovely place to enjoy food too.. we also had a takeaway from the Chinese in Ross which was generous and tasty…The accommodation is very pleasant and clean .. it suited us and was very comfortable..we would definitely book again
Wonderful 3 night’s stay. Accommodation appeared as much bigger than expected. Had everything we needed. Such a peaceful location. Just the sounds of owls at night and woodpeckers during the day! We really enjoyed sitting in the garden. We used the opportunity of having a good weather to do a bbq on one evening. Arthur and Mimi were so accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble! Provided us with charcoal when we forgotten to purchase it, at no extra cost. As advised, we helped ourselves with beautiful plums from their extensive garden, with a little help from a group of friendly sheep Plums were perfect for my rustic galette when got back home, to end our well deserved break. Thank you Mimi and Arthur!
A wonderful, peaceful place, gloriously secluded and perfect for exploring the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Really comfortable apartment. Thank you, Mimi and Arthur, for being so hospitable and making sure we had everything we need. Very much hope to return!
The Annex is fine for a short break but it needs a bit of updating as it’s looking quite tired in places. Because the bedroom and bathroom are in the eves of a garage the shower is very small and cramped but the shower itself is very powerful and the water is piping hot. The bed is huge and quite comfortable. Arthur was very helpful and answered our questions promptly and keen to share his local knowledge. You have your own private secluded garden with views over the hills. We would also recommend the Crown pub in Lea which is walkable in 30 minutes if you are fit.
Very, very nice accommadation, excellent hosts.would certainly recommendthis place. Cant find any faults with it at all.

The property was not suitable for anybody above 5 foot 6 this needs to be indicated also it needs to be indicated that the internet is not a good internet service and therefore it would be an ideal opportunity to advertise this as a place free of internet however both myself and my partner had worked to do which we couldn't therefore in my case I've gone home and not to go to the second part of my holiday in order that I could get my work completed as I knew the internet was poor elsewhere the bed was too soft the sofa sagged cleanliness was poor I found hair and objects left by previous guests in the place description of rec
Lovely, cosy apartment in a beautiful part of England. Perfect for a couple who enjoy walking/hiking. The Malvern hills are a must!!.Would also recommend trips to Ross and Ledbury. Also ideal for people who enjoy canoeing. Our host was so kind and helpful. We would recommend this apartment to friends and family. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
Nice place with very considerate hosts. One morning we mentioned to Arthur that the frying pan was warped and a bit difficult to cook with, and when we returned that evening a bag with a new pan was hanging on the door. Arthur also made some good recommendations for visiting local attractions. Enjoyable stay.
This property is beautifully set up as a roomy studio apartment. It's comfortable, light-filled and well appointed. The area is glorious and the views from the back garden are expansive. The property managers were unobtrusive but very friendly and approachable.
The upstairs living/bedroom area has quite a sloping ceiling, being under a pitched roof, so if you forget to duck you will occasionally bump your head!
The main negative for us was that the approach road is very steep and badly maintained - 'maintenance' was being carried out when we arrived - and it can be rough on the vehicle and the driver's nerves as it needs to be taken at speed. However, once you are there it's a great place to stay.
Served us well for our 3 night stay in the Wye region. We enjoyed meeting the friendly, special breed sheep at the back of the property.
