Thank you for a great stay in your cottage. The property is easy to find and we found a parking space each day along School Road. The cottage is cosy and has everything you need (inc. extras).Great spot for exploring the forest and Cindeford!Would recommend and stay again (if/when in the area)!
Really comfortable stay at Well house cottage. Cottage was very clean, had everything you needed. Attention to detail was amazing! Very close to the Forest of Dean. Quiet, sleepy village. One of our favourite cottages we’ve stayed at!

It was central to other towns and places to visit. The single bed and the sliding doors we noisy to get in and out of. The kitchen equipment was very good .
Myself, partner and 8yr old are just back from 2 nights in the cottage. We didn’t do much locally, but it was perfect for a cosy weekend in with lots of relaxation, board games and nice food. The cottage is even lovelier than the online listing with cute decor throughout and everything you would need in terms of kitchen utensils, bedding, towels etc. My daughter would like to live there!
Would definitely go back at a sunnier time of year to make the most of the attractions nearby.
We had a lovely stay here (2 adults and a 4 year old). Plenty of space to relax and everything you could possibly need - even OS maps which is so useful! Beds were comfy and we pleased to have blackout curtains which so many holiday homes don't! Warm and cosy and very clean throughout. Fantastic view from the front bedroom (it would be good to switch the bed around to make the most of it while sipping a morning cuppa). Great location for exploring FoD. We didn't explore the village but it is in a lovely rural setting. Would love o stay here again, very good value foe money.
