About this property
Cosy and Comfortable Cottage with the Best Views of the Wye Valley
Stone cottage nestled on the edge of the Woolhope Dome, steeped in history, visitors can see fallow deer in the wildflower meadows above the cottage and glow worms in the garden between May and September. Guided nature walks and fishing trips available. Day tickets available for fishing less than a mile away and rented canoeing facilities with drop off and pick up points arranged. Numerous footpaths passing through miles of wildlife rich woodland and pasture. Situated 30 miles from Hay on Wye and within easy reach of the Malvern Hills, Forest of Dean and the Brecon Beacons. Ideally sited for local attractions like Eastnor Castle and the highly acclaimed Hay on Wye literary Festival. Situated in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) there are many local pubs serving great food, a couple of which are within walking distance.
