Great location! Parking is a little difficult as you have to either find street parking or park in line with the tenants in separate unit below. Space was perfect for four of us.

Nittany Nest

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, it was great. Everything worked, the location is terrific. The off street parking was very much appreciated. The manifold that redirects the air coming out from the ceiling vent away from the faces of the people sleeping is genius. I've locked that solution in my mind for future use. It's small and cute, but you don't need much when it's just two people and a dog. Being pet friendly was also huge for us. The shower is small. It needs a new seal at the bottom, water exfiltrates a bit, that's an easy fix. The lack of a shelf in the shower means constantly bending over to get what you need. There's enough space to put a shelf up high and under the shower head. If you're a bigger person, you'll be extremely annoyed by this shower.

Hi Danny, I'm glad you had a great stay! In regards to the parking... Maryland Ave can be quite packed with cars during the day when people are going to the beach. That is why we give out the Rehoboth Beach permit for this property so you can park on other blocks nearby! Please reach out in the future if you are ever looking to stay in Rehoboth! We stayed in this upper cottage for four nights and the location cannot be beat! Easy access to anything that we need. The cottage is a bit small but was fine for our needs. I did find it a little odd that we need to rent sheets and towels which was a first for me. Seems like at that price it should be included but maybe this is a new trend. The description also indicated that there was dedicated parking but it appears to be a shared tandem spot with the downstairs unit - though we didn’t have any issues. The office staff was very communicative and instructions were extremely clear. We would definitely stay there again!

Review Summary

Property was very clean and even though is was pet friendly I would have never known-that means a lot. It was very beach friendly and in a great location. I just wish the bathroom was a little bit bigger and a place to hang things outside to dry. Otherwise it would be perfect. Thanks!

My vacation

Property was all I expected. Picking up and dropping off key at rental office is inconvenient and (minor) bathroom sink is slow to drain. Certainly no major complaints or problems.

Hi John, We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay... thanks for the "heads-up" on the drain. We will have a handyman go and take a look. Regarding the key pick-up and drop-off, we choose to meet you (and all our guests) in person to give you a welcome packet with emergency phone number and pertinent information on parking, WI-FI, trash pick-up days, and particulars of that home so your stay will be more enjoyable. Most guests actually prefer this, but we understand that some guests may want to bypass this step! We do hope to host you again soon. Best regards, BHHS PenFed Vacation Rental Team

Downstairs neighbors were very intrusive. They dominated the shared space like it was their own. Parked on street because of the shared parking situation. No laundry in upstairs apartment 43D listed in fine print of contract. Online listing says coin laundry available. That is NOT on property for upstairs rental. Location was great. Upstairs apartment was small but enough for two people. Nicely decorated.

Thank you for your candid feedback, Heather. Yes, this apartment does have a shared common area and we would have gladly made a phone call to the downstairs neighbors if we had know that they were monopolizing the space... Please note that we are open 7 days a week and also have an emergency number if you ever need us. Yes, although it is a little tight and the parking is shared, the parking spaces are assigned to each apartment. For laundry, we don't list washer and dryer as an amenity on the premises, but we do have .nearby laundromats which offer coiin operated service. Again, apologies if our stated information wasn't clear enough; we will try to make it clearer. We are happy you enjoyed the location and the apartment though and hope to work with you again in the future to find the perfect spot for your group.
