Nice place with dogs

Great yard for dogs and our 2 teens loved the loft. It's a bit far from downtown Rehoboth but it isn't a huge deal. Laundry is in the basement and the outdoor shower is great as well. Nice little place overall!

Perfect little getaway

What a lovely property. Booked the cottage to visit with my parents who live in Rehoboth. It had everything we needed. Spacious, quiet, great location, nicely decorated. We even booked it again for Christmas time.

Quaint and relaxing

A very tidy cottage, perfect for relaxing with a furry friend. Although it was chilly, the deck has a wall and we were able to read outside in the warmth of the sun, while the wind was blocked. Also, so close to walk the pup on the beach.

Great place and location

The cottage is nice and exactly as described. It is in a great location with very convenient access to route 1 and Rehoboth Ave. So you can get to the beach, restaurants or shops quickly. It was only 2 of us plus our small dog so we had plenty of room for a long weekend. As others have said, the fenced in yard is great if you're bringing a dog.

Great, dog-friendly home!

We've stayed at this rental twice now and plan to come back again and again. The adorable cottage is cozy, clean, fully fenced for our dogs, nicely landscaped and beautiful. It's in a great location for walking to downtown Rehoboth or visiting the restaurants along Rt. 1. The hosts are helpful and communicate well. The house is located on a quiet street.

Girls Getaway

Us girls get away every June for a couple of days at the beach in Rehoboth. This was different as it was an individual house. We usually stayed in hotels, a nice change. Little disappointed as listing said 3 full baths, think they counted outside shower as a full bath??!!

A great choice.

Lovely cottage. Cozy feel but my wife and I stayed with our large dogs and 4 late teen -early twenties children and friends and felt we had plenty of space. ( two people per queen bed ). Short drive to the beach (three minute drive to state park beach which was perfect. Easy walk or drive to Rehoboth boardwalk at night and an amazing breakfast place just around the corner. Perfect for a weekend or week. For the record you could easily access beach by walk or bike but given the gear you need for a day in the sand driving best. Bottom line, would happily choose again

Disappointing

Overall disappointing, with low standards for cleanliness and maintenance. I found a stack of dirty, used dishes on top of a pan in a cabinet. Glasses and silverware were also dirty, so I ended up having to run a load of dishes shortly after our arrival. Shower curtains were grimy and mildewy. The microwave glass plate was missing. Furniture old and worn. One set of rollers on the ladder leading up the loft is off the track. Curtains are sheer in the bedrooms, so street lights are an issue at night, and early sun an issue in the morning. The space is small (it’s a cottage after all), but the living room is horribly inefficiently decorated. For example, get rid of the old chairs, and you have plenty of space to put a table and chairs for a meal. I fully understand these sorts of issues occur in non-owner occupied rentals run by property management companies, but for so many to be present at one time represents an unfortunate amount of neglect and a low standard of care.

Rehoboth beach house

The good: The location is excellent. Quick walk to beach and boardwalk. If you're wanting to do local things, you don't have to drive. Layout of the house is nice. Teenager enjoyed the loft above the kitchen. Nice decor. Nice fenced yard for pets (though if you have a small dog, there are some gaps in the ground (in which a small dog could sneak out). The bad: The house was very dirty. Inside kitchen drawers and cabinets, there were caked on food. Inside one of the showers, there was a big, highly-visible wad of hair (not my family's). Dusty. I found it misleading to say there is a washer and dryer. Technically, there is. But you have to go outside and then into a cellar basement, which was dirty, smelled like an old basement, and we saw spiders. It was creepy so we did not do our wash (if that doesn't bother you then, indeed, there is a washer and dryer). The backyard had a bucket of standing water and there were branches and other debris. Mentioning this because there were a ton of mosquitoes and cleaning such things could help minimize mosquito problem. Amenities are very sparse. We ran out of hand soap and toilet paper and couldn't find extra so we had to run out last-minute and get it. Anything you might need, you should bring. Not the property owner's fault, but construction workers are building a house next door and work started early in the morning.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at this house! It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is easy to get to the beach and other amenities. The yard is big and fenced in, perfect for your dog to enjoy! The house itself is nicely decorated and plenty spacious for a small family. Two full bathrooms and an outdoor shower to wash the sand off before going inside. Plenty of dishes and silverware to go round. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Basic, not charming at all….Fence wire at gate coming off. Dog tried to get out.

It was adequate, but noisy, as there was a house being built next door. No beach appeal inside. I would not rent it again.

Spring break

Overall a great cozy house, very clean and nicely furnished. The property is great for dogs, or small kids and there is plenty of parking. Close enough to walk to the boardwalk or downtown to get something to eat. Or a quick trip to Route 1 and the outlets. Would definitely book this home again!

Winter getaway at the beach!

We very happy staying in the cozy cottage. Dining was a short drive. Normally we would walk but with freezing temps we couldn't. This was our second stay here and we feel very comfortable at this place.

Great place but stinky and don’t forget your own linens

Wonderful location, clean surfaces, great set up for two of us wanting separate rooms. House had a very strong odor of pets/accidents (and I am a pet owner). It was bad. Had to have most windows open to compensate (a little chilly in Nov). Maybe from rug in front room, maybe it was closed up for a while?) Plus we did not realize that there were no linens for the beds or towels so that required a tj maxx trip the day we arrived. Never saw any info in vrbo post info about condo but it was in email about parking which I didn’t read until we arrived. Whoops. Overall I liked the place but the smell would deter me from returning.

Great get away

This place ways great. An easy bike ride from the beaxh and board walk. Only gripes are i had tobrepair one of the bikes so we had 2 and the grill needs a deep, deep clean so we didn't use it. Will definitely look into this house again the next time we are in town.

Cute BUT

The home is really cute if you don’t mind having literally no place to put your clothes. No closet, hooks, shelf, or even a luggage rack to set your suitcase on. We literally were hanging cloths from curtain rods. I will say there were drawers under the beds, but they were dusty and full of hair. The washer and dryer was wretched and the beach chairs were all rusty. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay but will not likely stay here again.

Awesome house and location

We definitely loved staying here. Location was great, only a short walk to lots of shops, restaurants & the beach. You can tell it was newly updated, which was quite nice. Only one of the bicycles was in working condition unfortunately so we didn’t get to use those but it’s overall a great weekend! Would definitely stay again 😋
