The property was in a beautiful location. However the internet was slow when everybody was using it. Plus the double bed in the ensuite bedroom was not king size as described in the property details. The wildlife may upset some people, but it did not bother us.

The house was quite charming with tons of character. It was on a large sheep farm and every morning one of the highlights for me and my youngest granddaughter was watching them feed the sheep and lambs. The adults of our group enjoyed the hot tub every night (even during the rain). The location of the house is quite remote and is a challenge to get to on small narrow farm roads. To us it was well worth it and so peaceful. My advice, get all you need from the grocery store before you get to the house because it is a ways to the nearest one, not distance wise but time wise on those narrow roads. The wi-fi and cell reception are spotty but you are not there to be one your phone or other devices. Lin and James, the hosts, were very nice. If we are ever in Wales again we would love to stay at Maesgwyn.
