The cottage is cared for by the next door neighbours who are friendly, they made sure there was some hot water in the immersion tank before we arrived. Parking is a little tricky but best park up to the left of the row of cottage’s being aware that several neighbours need access. The kitchen is tiny and is equipped with the basics for pans plates and cooking utensils. Cutlery is in the dining room drawers. The downstairs is very cool temperature wise but there are logs provided for the log burners. Upstairs is roomy and nicely decorated. Only hand soap toilet roll and towels supplied so don’t forget your shower gel and shampoos etc. it is an old miners cottage so full of character. It’s in a great place to go hill walking
