Set all on the ground floor, the property hosts one super-king-size bedroom (zip/link), sleeping a total of two guests and served by a shower room. Completing the interior is an open-plan living room with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove and a conservatory. Outside has a patio area with furniture, as well as off-road parking for one car. Melin Newydd is a wonderful choice for a remote break with your partner. Note: the property only accepts a minimum breaks of 3 nights.

It was not stated that the cottage was 1 of 3. Having told the rules, another guest's dog was off lead and its owner did not pick up. Whilst the cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable - having other guests staring through the conservatory as they walked around into the garden was disconcerting/ upsetting for our pooches. So not a single cottage; owners live on site which was handy. Local drivers were kamikaze - with two near hits on the road to/from the cottage reflected the 2 car over-taking that's in the Welsh Highway Code. Sykes' customer service was awful - the double payment was quickly resolved but the attitude was 'we're busy.'

Great base camp for Snowdonia

A great little property in the peace and tranquillity of Snowdonia. A perfect place to explore the mountains, porthmadog, Portmeirion, Harlech Castle and much more. The property was clean and provided everything we required for a week's stay. Great views and a peaceful place for those wanting to escape the busy lifestyle. Would recommend and stay again.
