Amazing location by the sea, 180 degrees view on the bay. Very spacious and clean apartment. It is conveniently located on the premises of the Uig campground, a few 100's metres from Uig pier. Laundry is available in the campground service building.

Spacious Skye Cottage with Great Views

This property is a delightful base for any stay in Skye. Our group was very comfortable. Do not trust the instructions to get there from anyone but the property owner, make sure to ask.

Martin and his wife are amazing!

Martin and his wife were very accommodating and they made the entire process very easy! The house had a great view of the bay and we could see the fairies going by in the morning. Highly recommend.

First off the view is worth the price of admission! The place is a 2nd floor add on to an existing building. The owners run the adjacent campground, and are on site. Finding it was a little tricky as you have to go to and through the gate to get to the campground. The place was in great shape and served our purposes well, however you should be aware of the overall location and surrounding amenities before you plan your visit here. Restaurants are limited and many require reservations. The campground has a lot of camper vans, and we saw many people with large backpacks while there. This area is ideal for distance hiking and other outdoor site seeing, but again lacks the amenities of a decent sized city. As we were looking for a point to drive around the Isle of Skye as opposed to hiking, the location was not really the best for us, but that does not detract from the place itself. If I return to actually spend more time outdoors, I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location of this rural property in Uig overlooking the loch and the terminal for the ferry to the Outer Hebrides. The house is a bit difficult to find but the owners are almost always nearby and are friendly and helpful. Plenty of space for the 4 of us (all adults) for 3 nights, and I could have stayed longer. Nice kitchen, dining room table, living room couches, bedrooms, and large windows showcasing the views. Note that it's necessary to carry luggage up some steep stairs. We found the property very conveniently located for our hiking excursions and visits to sites on the northern part of the island. I would be very happy to stay here again, though two things could be improved: (1) There was no internet service during our stay. The owners apologized but said the router was broken. (2) It would have helpful to have somewhere to hang towels in the bathrooms--hooks or towel racks.
