This superb stone-built, semi-detached cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Far Sawrey near Hawkshead and sleeps five people in three bedrooms.



The Space:

Glen Side is a delightful Edwardian stone-built, semi-detached cottage situated next a working livestock farm, on the edge of Far Sawrey and close to Hawkshead. This cottage sleeps five people and has three bedrooms, consisting of a king-size double, a twin and a single, together with bathroom and a ground floor shower room. The cottage also has a open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburner and a second sitting room. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and a front raised lawned garden with veranda and furniture. Glen Side is an excellent Lake District base. If you wish to book a short break the week beginning 4th July 2026 please contact Sykes directly.



The Neighborhood:

The village of Far Sawrey has a Post Office/store and pub/restaurant. Bowness, with all its shops, restaurants and leisure facilities, is just a short distance across the lake by ferry. Also close by is 'Hill Top', once the home of Beatrix Potter, and Hawkshead with its picturesque 17th century cottages.
