You can join the Wherrymans Way footpath just up the road on Langley Dyke passing the restored Hardley Mill on the River Yare and onto Hardley Staithe . Marsh Harriers,Kestrels and Barn Owls can be spotted soaring over the marshes.
Loddon village ,the Gateway to the Southern Broads is a 7 min, 2 mile drive away , where you can find a picturesque riverbank ,boating opportunities ,historic buildings ,a supermarket , and a selection of cafes, pubs , takeaways and shops , and a library.
