Central to all other sites ie Scarborough Whitby Redcar very nice bonus the weather was lovely lodge was clean would book again x

Getaway

Fantastic place to stay,so clean and great setting to go to all the popular costal resorts.The lodge is prfect you don't need anything everything provided.Bed so comfortable and spotless,will definitely be coming back to stay at Hawthorne lodge.

great lodge-Hawthorne

We had a great holiday at Hawthorne Lodge, which was very clean and cosy. It was a lovely place to relax and chill out. Also good parking next to the lodge. We were lucky with the weather sun all week. our dog also had a good time and there was a big field next to the lodge where we could walk her. Would highly recommend to stay there for a holiday.

Disliked: Communication, location, listing accuracy
Overall ok. When making enquiry about pet, no reply from host. Had to leave dog at home due to poorly written advertisement for property. Handle in double doors broken and had to struggle shutting the door. Fridge handle hanging off. Shower very temperamental. Comfort of bed poor. Smart TV advertised but is a standard flat screen. Will not be going back or using Sykes cottages or VRBO again.
