For a truly special glamping escape, Ember Sky Yurt offers a cosy, pet-friendly retreat in Christon Bank, near Beadnell, perfectly placed for exploring the stunning Northumberland coastline. Sleeping up to four guests, the yurt features a kingsize bed and double sofa bed, a woodburner with all wood supplied, and a kettle with tea and coffee for a warm welcome. The clear roof above creates a magical space for stargazing, while outside the enclosed private garden is ideal for both relaxation and dogs to stretch their legs. Guests can enjoy their own private hot tub and ice bath, and a separate unit provides a kitchen, walk-in shower and WC for added comfort and convenience.
Set close to the coast, Christon Bank is an excellent base for discovering Northumberland’s breathtaking beaches, castles and wildlife. Just a short drive away, Beadnell Bay is a favourite for beach walks, watersports and family days by the sea, with plenty of space for dogs to enjoy the sand too. Nearby Seahouses offers trips to the Farne Islands, where visitors can spot puffins and seals in season, while the picturesque harbour makes a lovely place to stop for fish and chips. History lovers will be drawn to the dramatic beauty of Bamburgh Castle, and the striking ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle, reached by a scenic coastal walk from Craster, are not to be missed. The area is also perfect for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers, with miles of coastline, open countryside and unforgettable views to enjoy.
