Free golf, free deep sea fishing admissions, free dolphin boat cruise admissions, and free mini golf seasonally when you stay in our first-floor one-bedroom vacation home! Feel free to ask us about these. We want your stay to be a fantastic vacation!

Welcome to Sandy Shores. We want you to relax, recharge, and enjoy the beautiful island life. Beautifully remodeled ground floor condo with a wrap-around porch and gorgeous new floors, paint, and furnishings. The living room has a breakfast bar, 50" LG TV, queen sleeper sofa and a beach/casual vibe to enjoy your getaway. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your meal time and packing your cooler for the day at the beach. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, 50" LG TV, en-suite bathroom and a huge closet to store your gear.

The Purple Parrot Perdido Key location has a pool that is rivaled by none other in the area! This magnificent 5,000 square foot oasis has nearly 150,000 gallons of water circulating over a continuous waterfall cave and surrounding a bridge-accessible island hot tub. The pool deck is dotted with lounge chairs and rather than having lunch in the condos you can gather as a family under one of the palm leaf-covered cabanas to enjoy lunch. Immediately off the pool deck is a sandy courtyard area with two volleyball nets and plenty of room for the kids to run around while mom or dad is snapping pictures for the Perdido Key vacation album. If you are among our guests traveling during the cooler months (or among those who get a little too much sun during the summer) know that having an indoor pool house is a valuable amenity. The Purple Parrot Resort's indoor amenities include a heated pool, hot tub, large fitness center, showers, and saunas.

Certain parts of the year require a minimum number of nights to be booked online. If you are having difficulties booking your reservation, or do not find any available properties that meet your vacation criteria, please feel free to call our office and we will do our best to accommodate your vacationing needs.

Great Pool/Bar

This cute little condo is a little too far from the beach unless you have friends nearby with more convenient access. However, our friends staying on the beach came to hang out at our pool so it all worked out. Nice place, small but comfortable. Lots of towels and bedding and even a couple of beach chairs to borrow. The big pool and hot tub right next to the fun little tiki bar was great.

Everything was so nice and clean upon arrival. Very bright and happy lights and decor. Location is perfect. Indoor and outdoor pool or super close to the beach. We loved the state park close by. Beautiful beach! Only down side of this specific rental was being able to hear tenants above us walking around. No big deal for us though. GREAT free amenities (fishing, golfing, dolphin cruise, etc)! Will definitely be booking with them again.

I have to say this condo had the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever sat on. Granted we didn’t go to sit around but there was 2 or 3 rainy days and we spent more time inside than the norm. The couch just needs to be replaced period. The other 2 chairs were definitely not made for living room furniture. The bed was ok but the fingernails left behind on the nightstand were disgusting and the person cleaning needs to spend more time dusting and not just hit and miss. I’m sorry for such a negative review but when we spend that much money to rent a place we expect much better than what we got.

Peaceful getaway

The bottom part of our unit was cozy for two people. I loved not returning home with dirty clothes! The pool was nice. The beach was a little far and we drove to it each time. The porch was covered in sand due to the renters in the above part of unit shaking their pool items out on their porch which was located directly above ours. The chairs and floor were covered! Was not happy with that. Also we had to listen to kids running back and forth upstairs while we were in bed trying to sleep. The quiet time was at 10:00pm so be prepared even if you want an early night you may not get it. Also our unit did not have parking in front of it so we had to park at other units and carry our items to our unit.

Quick Trip

We usually stay in Gulf Shores and wanted to try something new as it was a quick trip. We were down for a few days dropping off our oldest at college. PERDIDO KEY is a beautiful location. The house was beautiful. The overall property was perfect with the pool and bar. We enjoyed live music on Saturday night which was so FUN! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Understanding that the hurricane wiped out much of this resort. Needs some updating and repairs. Cleaning up of landscape etc. I would suggest some cleaning supplies be left, broom, swifter, shower cleaner, squeegee for the glass shower doors.

Perfect Get away

The Purple Parrot was beyond our expectations for peace, quiet, somewhat secluded, yet close to everything, tropical beauty, cleanliness, low key, and wonderful neighbors. Temperatures in Dec. and Jan. were cooler than expected, but still very enjoyable. The experience was wonderful.
