New Listing! New Furnishings! We call this unit The Pool House! It has everything you need for a great vacation getaway. Purple Parrot Village Resort has attractive coastal architecture so the units feel much more like a cottage than a condo. This attractive and welcoming 1-Bedroom condo is conveniently located on the ground floor. It offers one of the best locations in the resort, overlooking the amazing lagoon style pool. The huge pool with a waterfall and soaking spa is a fan favorite and The Pool House has a "parrot's eye view". Enjoy some float therapy in the lagoon pool or swim in the heated indoor pool. Other amenities include a fitness room, beach volleyball and the one and only Purple Parrot Tiki Bar. Head to the beach just at at the end of the road. Perdido Key is home to many public beach accesses as well as the Gulf Islands National Seashore, Perdido Key State Park, Big Lagoon State Park and more. Enjoy miles of pristine, undeveloped white sand beaches and the amazing blue and green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. PKRM adds extra value to your vacation by offering a Dolphin Cruise, a Sunset Cruise and / or Deep Sea Fishing to our guests. Make sure you get out on the water and see for yourself why Perdido Key's waterways are referred to as a Boater's Paradise. If you prefer to visit OWA Amusement Park, we have tickets for that!
This 1 bedroom / 1 bath unit has a brand new King sized bed with a quality memory foam mattress for a great night's sleep. The bathroom has an extra large custom tile shower for rinsing off the sand & salt, as well as any worries you might have brought with you on vacation. The furniture is modern and comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. There is a large television for viewing, streaming and gaming and the porch is a terrific place to sit and sip on your favorite beverage.
Enjoy shopping, attractions and wonderful dining experiences in Perdido Key and also in nearby Orange Beach and Downtown Pensacola. Be sure to try some fresh, local seafood from the Gulf. Grill out at the Purple Parrot or try one of the many restaurants the locals love. This unit came on the market late in the season so it still has some great dates to choose from. We loved our stay at the Purple Parrott. The screened porch of this unit, which overlooked the pool, was enjoyed in the calm of the mornings and in the evenings with music from the bar area. The proximity to the beautiful pool was definitely a bonus. The unit was well equipped and the king size memory foam bed was very comfortable. Communication was good throughout and the unit was clean and comfortable. We will be back.

We loved staying at the Purple Parrot! The Pool House condo was the perfect location for easy access to the pool. We loved sitting on the front balcony listening to the nightly live music at the Tiki Bar. We would definitely stay here again!

We liked the location of this property, very close to Orange Beach and Pensacola. It was a nice property with a large pool and felt very safe. My only complaint is that it needs a lot of maintenance. The condo is somewhat run down with steps and molding that is loose and falling off. We also noticed a bad smell in the bedroom when we got there. A leak at back door making carpet wet was found. I notified them and they sent maintenance. However, nothing was done while I was there. Also, the pool needs to be cleaned.
