We had an early flight from Rome Fiumicino in the morning and had to drop our rental car off nearby that evening, and we were lucky enough to find this gem. This was a lovely studio flat steps from the Mediterranean and very convenient to the airport. The terrace was amazing, our favorite part, the air conditioning kept it cool on a very hot day, and there is a beachside restaurant and bar directly across the street. It was clean and comfortable, a very walkable and safe area, and we would stay here again without question.
I feel guilty that we still haven’t figured out how to pay the city tax that was due to Michela upon checkout, now that we are home we will try to sort that out! We didn’t find out until after we left since we had a very early flight, so keep that in mind! The way she asked us to pay is not familiar to me, a Postepay, and I have to use Google Translate to read her messages, which is no problem except I don’t know how to send her money (which is only €10, but still!).
It was a bit tricky to figure out which gate and lockbox to use, but we managed without having to contact her. She was a communicative host and seems very nice, and this was overall the best place we could have asked for in Fiumicino, highly recommend!
