About this property
Lakefront Home in Point Chautauqua
Enjoy lakefront luxury with this beautiful home. Relax with 1800 SF, 3br/2ba which sleeps 8-10. The wrap around porch gives beautiful lake views from every angle, and front picture windows keeps the views alive when inside. The first floor open layout allows for plenty of room to comfortably move about, relax, play games, take a nap, etc. All the things that make a great vacation.
1st FLOOR:
The first floor has the main Living Room/Dining Room area, the kitchen, 1 bath and 1 bedroom, the main entrance hallway and closets.
The kitchen has stainless appliances. Refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher and microwave. Cabinets are stocked with all kitchen utensils needed for 10 people. Plates, bowls, cups, glasses, pots, pans, silverware, etc. Everything that is needed for a large gathering. The kitchen table seats 8, and the kitchen counter-bar area seats 4. Feel free to use whatever spices are in the spice rack, or any other condiments that may be left.
The living room area has two leather couches and a cloth love seat. Both couches are comfortable enough to sleep on (and often are) and the love seat is a hide-a-bed that pulls out with a single mattress.
The bathroom on the first floor has a tub/shower combo.
First floor bedroom has a bunk bed that sleeps 3; bottom bunk is a full mattress, top bunk and trundle bed are both singles.
There is a closet on the first floor where you can store jackets, coats, et
The best feature of the first floor is the sliding glass door that leads to the deck...
DECK AREA:
The deck wraps around the house and the views are spectacular. Six deck chairs and a picnic bench are included. There is also a gas grill on the deck by the side of the house. Words cannot describe the deck, it describes itself beautifully...every time you step on it.
SECOND FLOOR:
There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the second floor. The front bedroom (Honeymoon Suite) has 1 king and 1 full bed. The rear bedroom has 2 queen beds. A queen sized air mattress is also available, if needed. Plenty of room for sound sleeping.
The bathroom has recently been renovated. It boasts a large shower and lots of room. There is a closet in the second floor hallway where you can store extra bags, or hang up clothes, etc.
LAKEFRONT:
Watch herons flying by and fishermen casting for bass with your morning coffee. There are 60 feet of lake frontage for your pleasure. The dock is included and it's a great spot for fishing or swimming. The large platform at the end of the dock is a great spot to hang out. There is a fire pit on the lakefront that is nice to use on a chilly day. You can also take advantage of the Point Chautauqua playground and swimming area, tennis court, basketball hoop and baseball field. Several golf courses are nearby and bike/running/hiking trails are plentiful.
Please NOTE: The dock is not installed until Memorial Day and is removed after Labor Day. If you are booking outside of these dates the dock will not be in the water, although the docking buoy is installed in early May.
BOAT DOCKING:
Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, there is a buoy located 25 yards off the dock platform that you can tie your boat to. There are also 6 pilings located along the side of the dock that will allow you to tether your boat to load, unload or stay for a while. If it gets windy or rough you should tie off your boat on the buoy immediately as dock repairs are expensive and you would be responsible if your boat damages the dock.
