Modern 300 ft lakefront with pool

Enjoy this modern 6000 sq ft home on 300' of lakefront, private pool, huge yard and dock. Easily launch your boat from the nearby boat launch and tie it to the four posters on the dock (boat lift for owner use only). Dock usually goes in before Memorial Day in May and is taken out Mid October, but it is weather dependent and no exact date can be given. Pool is open from Memorial Day until end of September.

Great lake views from almost every room in the house. Stay warm by the fire pit while enjoying breathtaking evenings views of the lake.

Home boasts 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms as well as a large open living room area for entertaining, and a separate kitchen/dining room and kitchen island with separate wine and beer fridge.

Ground floor:
* bedroom 1 - King sized bed with twin daybed and trundle, and full bath with tub/shower next door.
2nd floor features 4 bedrooms:
* bedroom 2- Queen ensuite toilet and bath tub/shower,
* bedroom 3- Queen ensuite toilet and shower,
* bedroom 4- 2 sets of twin bunks with additional twin trundle bed and ensuite toilet and shower
* bedroom 5 - spacious second floor master with King size bed and daybed with trundle. Incredible lake views and ensuite bath with ensuite tub and shower.
3rd floor:
* bedroom 6 - 2 twin beds

The house is a 5 minute drive from quaint downtown Mayville with excellent restaurants and grocery store. Chautauqua Golf Club offers two separate courses: the Lake and the Hills course, and lies 10min away.
We're also 15 minutes away from bustling Beamus Point with a vibrant nightlife and entertainment for people of all ages.

The house is seasonally decorated for the main holidays; Thanksgiving and Christmas, and any special occasions upon request (baby shower, bridal shower, anniversaries, birthdays).

chautauqua family time

spacious everyone had plenty of space inside outside plenty to do ping pong/pool table. kids swam in pool and fished off pier and rented boat. it was just perfect.

EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION!

The location of this waterfront property at the north end of Chautauqua Lake is exceptional! The house is large, and although we were only a group of 6, it could accommodate many more. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets, charming campfires, a pontoon boat rental, winery tours, and a quaint lunch and dinner in the town of Mayville. The weather and fall colors could not have been more perfect!

Great place to stay

Great property. It was everything we needed for a week away from home. We stayed with extended family and the area offered something for everyone. Jackie, the property manager was exceptional. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place for a group

This is the third year our group has come here for our church's women's retreat. The house is beautiful and spacious. It provides exactly what we need for a large group. The setting is gorgeous and quiet.

Beautiful lake house

Our family has been vacationing at Chautauqua for many years. This is one of our favorite rental properties. Our group of 20, ranging from 2 years old up to 67, had plenty of space. The house was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals, the pool area is great when you want a break from the lake, the fire pit is big enough to accommodate a large group. There's a public launch very close by for kayaks. Our family stays on the lake but there are shops and restaurants close by.

Annual Ladies weekend

13 ladies had a wonderful time in beautiful lake front home with fire pit! Everyone loved the spacious home, fit everyones needs! Jackie goes above and beyond, shes awesome! Definately will be staying there again!!

Jackie was a wonderful property manager and was extremely timely with communication. The property worked great for our large group that included kids. As the title says would 100% stay again. The house was well stocked with everything in the kitchen and linens were comfy! The views are stunning from this house. We can’t wait for our next stay.

This is a well maintained property. Kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals for a large group. Plenty of extra linens & towels. Loved the pool & the lake. Jackie was very hospitable & quickly answered every time I called or texted.

Thanksgiving

The check-in process was super easy, and able to check in early which was really nice! The house is very spacious and never felt crowded with 16 people. Few concerns with the house but Jackie was quick to answer. The check out was SO easy. We had a great time with family and enjoyed our time together

Beautiful home! My siblings and I were able to relax and catch up! There were 10 adults and we all had plenty of room, enough bathrooms and comfy beds. Did not disappoint. Jackie was there for us. Looking forward to our next stay. We booked the home for Thanksgiving.

Could be a premium property...

This house and property have all the makings to be a SUPER place to rent. It needs major TLC. My suggestion: Close it down for a week to paint, to do a DEEP cleaning, repair broken items, maintain landscaping and pool. That being said, we had a wonderful and memorable time by overlooking the TLC issues. Grand kids said it was one of their best vacations. Working with the owner and property manager was extremely easy.

Great week on the lake

Spend a week on the lake with my family. The house was great offering many settings for activities from playing on the lawn, the first pit, swimming pool, or even a short stroll in the neighborhood. Jackie the office manager was great. My only complains, were low water pressure, slow toilet. And got charged and extra $400 cleaning fee because the kids when a little overboard. We were told not to worry about cleaning up but were later told that the overage charges were due to needing additional help getting the place ready for the next visitors. Regardless, we will considering renting this place again.

Terrific Property for Family Vacation

Our family booked this stay nearly one year in advance and absolutely loved it. We needed a place large enough for the entire family so we could view the 2024 total solar eclipse together. The host was very responsive and helped answer all our questions leading up to the stay. A few days prior to the visit, the property manager, Jackie, contacted us to ensure we had everything we needed (e.g., firewood, blankets, etc.). The check-in process was easy, the rules/guidelines were very clear, and everything matched the listing description. It's a beautiful home in an excellent area. We were a short drive from Buffalo and Niagara Falls. There were also several nearby hiking opportunities. The children in our group loved playing basketball in the driveway so that was a pleasant surprise as well. There was a minor issue surrounding the cleanliness at check-in; however, the property owner, Linda, addressed our concerns immediately. They went above and beyond what we were expecting to get the issue resolved. Overall, it's an excellent home for a large group of people and I'd recommend this to others. Seeing the eclipse with my entire family was a once in a lifetime experience and I'm thankful that we found such a wonderful rental. Thank you Linda and Jackie for the great service!

Beautiful house, poor management

We rented this house for Thanksgiving weekend. We had 14 guests, including adults and children ranging from 17-3 years of age. Upon arrival we realized that 3 of the bedrooms on the second floor did not have electricity. I called the property manager, Jackie, who said “yes, I know. We’ve had electricians there all day”. Wow! You didn’t think that was something we should have been informed of prior to arrival? There was an awful burning smell in the master bedroom, which we called Jackie about at 10:00pm on the first night. Needless to say we were unable to use those 3 bedrooms. We had guests sleeping on couches all weekend. We’ve reached out to the property manager, who assured us that she would have the owners contact us. We’ve heard from neither since our stay. The house is beautiful but is in need of some repair. It was ridiculous that our family was not notified of the electrical problem prior to our arrival and is insulting that neither Jackie nor the owners have contacted us after our requests for them to do so.

Overall, a nice family week

It was a cool week with occasional showers, but we found things to do--dock fishing, kayak, canoe, visiting sites in the area, ping-pong and games inside the house and campfires at night. It is a peaceful place. We found out the week before our visit that the pool was not available to us due to maintenance issues but the owner offered us a small refund and the use of her kayak and canoe in exchange as a good will gesture, I accepted. The gas grill was in horrible shape, it took my husband and son over an hour to clean the grates and burners before we could use it---the burners were rusty and really need to be replaced. When I brought it to the house mgr attention, Jackie said, "I'll probably replace it at the end of the season." It did service us for the week. I was moving the toaster and a large amount of crumbs came out from the bottom the pull out tray was loaded, as were the slots, I cleaned the toaster, lining the bottom of the sink with the crumbs and filling up the sink strainer, Jackie apologized about the toaster saying that shouldn't be. I was told that the bathrooms would have a couple of back up rolls of toilet paper---most bathrooms had small used rolls under the sinks, 2 bathrooms had one full roll with a used roll--Jackie did bring a few extra rolls when she came to check the pool. Jackie, the house mgr. was pleasant, approachable, and responsive -- but maybe her staff needs to be better trained or supervised.
