About this property

The Stop - Emsworth - a cottage that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms

This beautifully renovated home is ideally located just a short walk from the centre of Emsworth, with the shoreline and marina only a leisurely stroll away.
Upon entering you'll find a spacious ground floor king-size bedroom at the front of the house. To the rear the property opens into a stunning, light filled living space overlooking the garden, perfect for socialising and relaxing. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need for self catering, including a kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer, filter coffee machine, cafetière, dishwasher, electric oven and hob and a combination oven/steamer.
The kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining area, where a table comfortably seats up to eight guests, ideal for enjoying home cooked meals or dishes from one of the village's excellent eateries. The sitting area features plenty of comfortable, sink-in sofas arranged around a large widescreen smart TV, while a wooden chest offers a selection of board games for guests to enjoy.
Also on the ground floor you'll find a convenient WC and a utility room with a washing machine.
On the first floor, there are two bedrooms: a twin room at the rear and a double room at the front. This level also includes the family bathroom, complete with a bath and a separate shower cubicle.
The second floor hosts the fourth bedroom, a cosy double with its own en suite shower room.
Outside, the south-facing garden is a true sun trap, with ample seating for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. There is lots of pretty lighting illuminating the garden in the evening. Guests can also make use of the coal barbecue.
Parking is available to the rear of the property for two vehicles.
The Stop is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and create lasting memories by the sea.
The Stop is situated to the east of Emsworth which is a lovely village on the Hampshire/Sussex boarder. From The Stop you can walk to the marina within a few minutes and to the centre of the village. The village itself is fantastic and packed with local independent shops, bakery, cafes, restaurants and pubs. If you want a real treat book yourself a table at Fat Olives, the food is out of this world! For a fabulous Sunday lunch or more casual dining the Kings Arms or The Crown are within walking distance too.

For a great day out you can easily reach Portsmouth Historic Dockyard or The Weald and Downland, home of BBC's The Repair Shop, both places are great fun for any age group. There is outlet shopping, cinema complex and bowling at GunWharf Quays which you can easily reach by car or train from Emsworth. For something a little different you can book seal watching boat trips from Hayling Island or hire kayaks from Emsworth Marina.

Access to the races and Goodwood Motor Circuit is really easy from Emsworth making The Stop the perfect location for when you are attending The Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood or The Revival.
