About this property
Grace Cottage - Emsworth - a cottage that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
Bridgefoot Path is a beautifully refurbished town house with direct water views in the centre of Emsworth village. You can sit out on the raised terrace to the front on a beautiful summer evening and enjoy the views of the Mill Pond and the sea beyond.
Entering the cottage through the rear into the lovely family room with a seating area which is open into the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need to self cater for your stay including kettle, toaster, dishwasher, electric cooker with hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. There is a lovely large dining table with seating for six guests where you can sit an enjoy whatever delights you have whipped up in the kitchen. The hosts have also provided a washer/drier, iron and board and an airer...very handy when you have been on the water all day! To the front of the house there is a cosy sitting room which looks directly onto the Mill Pond and has lots of comfortable seating and a large smart TV.
On the first floor there is a king size bedroom to the front with direct views of the water and an en suite shower room. There is a further double room and a small room to the rear with a cot which guests are welcome to use. There is a family bathroom on this floor with a shower over the bath. Upstairs to the second floor there is a double room.
The garden to the rear is terraced and the hosts have provided a seating area and a charcoal barbecue. To the front there are direct views to the water and a seating area.
There is parking for one car.
Outside there is allocated parking to the rear of the property for one car, there is further parking on the street to the front on a first come first served basis.
The hosts at Bridgefoot Path really have gone to great lengths to provide everything you need for your stay.
This stunning house is on the water in Emsworth which is a lovely village right on the Hampshire/Sussex boarder. From the house you can walk to the village centre within seconds and around the Mill Pond to the beach. The village itself is fantastic and packed with local independent shops, bakery, cafes, restaurants and pubs. If you want a real treat book yourself a table at Fat Olives, the food is out of this world! For a fabulous Sunday lunch or more casual dining the Kings Arms is within walking distance too.
For a great day out you can easily reach Portsmouth Historic Dockyard or The Weald and Downland, home of BBC's The Repair Shop, both places are great fun for any age group. There is outlet shopping, cinema complex and bowling at GunWharf Quays which you can easily reach by car or train from Emsworth. For something a little different you can book seal watching boat trips from Hayling Island or hire kayaks from Emsworth Marina.
Access to the races and Goodwood Motor Circuit is really easy from Emsworth making Brook House the perfect location for when you are attending The Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood or The Revival.
