This beautiful vacation home,Hacienda Bonita is in an exclusive and gated community in Cabo San Lucas, Ventanas Residence. The complex is located high on the hill featuring sweeping panoramic views of Cabo & the Sea of Cortez. Ventanas offers many amenities and has a peaceful setting to enhance your experience. We are close enough to town to be convenient and far enough away to be relaxing and soothing about 7 minutes to downtown and stunning beaches, 3 minutes to Costco and 5 minutes to Walmart

This home is more than 2,000 sq ft. It has three spacious bedrooms that are individually air-conditioned, 2 1/2 bathrooms, 2 terraces, wifi, a washer and dryer & a 2 car garage.
It offers a beautiful open floor plan where the kitchen, living area & dining area have sliding glass doors that open onto the 1st level terrace.
In the evenings, on the rooftop terrace, settle into the comfortable seating for everyone to enjoy the sunset and take in the view, or in the morning, enjoy a cup of coffee or sunbathe in the afternoon. There is plenty of space for friends and family to relax endlessly. There is also a BBQ grill up there to cook your catch of the day or some tasty carne asada from the local butcher shop.

Living Area~
All of the furniture allows for plenty of comfortable seating. Enjoy a movie night on a flat screen TV with Sky Satellite network or a DVD player. For added entertainment, there is a stereo w/ both indoor and outdoor speakers. The entertainment system has Chromecast connectivity, great for viewing pictures taken during your adventures from the day or streaming movies & music directly from your personal mobile devices.

Kitchen and Dining~
The fully equipped kitchen offers granite counters and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and any tools and gadgets that could possibly be needed for cooking at home. The dining table seats 8. You may also use the 1st level terrace to enjoy meals outside under the shaded pergola .

Bedrooms & Bathrooms~
The master bedroom features a king size bed with a high quality mattress and comfortable pillows. This room has a beautiful ensuite bathroom with a double sink vanity, spacious walk-in shower and private toilet closet The large dressing area has an abundance of closet space and all the drawers you need to feel at home.
The second and the third bedroom each have a queen size bed and walk in closets with a shared bathroom.
The half bathroom is located on the living area level.

Plenty of quality towels are available, including large beach towels and beach equipment for your enjoyment to explore Cabo’s beautiful beaches.

Pool and Fitness~
Enjoy the Fitness center offering a complete selection of exercise equipment, including cardio machines, free weights & weight machines. You will find all that you need for fitness.

Cabo Getaway

This is a really amazing location to stay, as we have been at Hawks nest several times. It's quiet, comfortable and has very well kept facilities. Really everything that we need for a restful refuge. We do enjoy going to town when we want to experience the nightlife, but always prefer to retreat to this type of place when it's time to rest.

Ventanas is a really beautiful housing development and this place is truly a beautiful space to experience the area with out being in the crowds of town. Very peaceful and nicely furnished space. I Would definitely recommend to others.

It is safe and nice to stay but just need to have a car for transportation since it is up in the mountain. Inside the apt. has everything for family to visit and stay to relax since it is very quiet up in the mountain.

We rented Hawk's Nest months ago. Before we arrived the entire description and photos of the place changed. We had difficulty finding the place due to the original paperwork we had printed off the computer. When we did find it, no one was there to let us in. We found the condo ourselves and found a key under the mat. Very odd. The place was so nice - but not a 3 bedroom separate house that this description says. The property manager never responded to any texts or questions. Having used VRBO numerous times, this was very surprising to us. The area, neighbors, and facilities were great as was the condo we were given, however, we would hesitate to rent again because we would not know what place we were getting

The place was beautiful to stay in, and it had a terrific view. There was even beer in the fridge when we arrived, which was most welcome. The place was clean and all the things required for a holiday were present.I have some suggestions which would go a long way to make the stay even more pleasant for guests1/ Have the property manager check the suite to ensure everything is working. The tvs, and the phone were not working and one TV needed to be replaced2/A booklet for English-speaking guests on how to run the TV, how to use the phone and the different appliances, including the barbecue3/ heads up for guests, you will need to buy fridge condiments like ketchup, mustard, etc. Most spices are available at the condo4/have the knives sharpened or at least have a sharpening stone available.We were sorry to leave early due to medical reasons, but we wished we could have stayed longer in this beautiful condoBTW The property manager was courteous and helpful

The Most Amazing View!

My husband & I, and my sister & her husband spent the month of February in this lovely Condo. My favourite feature by far was the view. From the balcony to the upper pool, it was breathtaking, overlooking part of the city, mountains, and the ocean with famous arch. It never got old! The Condo was very nice and roomy with a good kitchen equipped with essentials. Pretty much need a ladder to use the microwave, lol, but the stool in the cupboard did the trick. Bedrooms were great with plenty of storage and comfortable beds. As in other reviews, the two living room chairs are at “end of life”. I’ve never seen or felt more lumps in seat cushions before! In contrast, the outdoor furniture on the spacious balcony was perfect and that was our gathering place. Very nice Webber Grill also. The Condo is equipped with Apple TV. Unfortunately, with many hours of trying (probably 8 in total) we couldn’t get it working. We made one call to property manager but her instructions didn’t do it for us. So we watched a little Netflix, but mostly used our devices for news and many books were devoured. Transportation is a necessity in this location. We rented a car for the full month and used it almost every day. Day trips - Toto Santos, San Jose, out for meals, groceries, etc. We love the vibe that Cabo has. People are friendly and helpful, there is an artistic flavour and the food is amazing! In the whole month, we never had a bad meal. There are tons of restaurants from delicious 30 cent tacos downtown to higher priced beautiful El Huerta Farm to Table, and many restaurants in between. We enjoyed the Plaza Novva. (half way down the hill on the way to Costco) Great pizza, home made pies, coffee/lattes and a number of little cafes and two restaurants. All in all it was a lovely vacation and with just a couple a fixes at the Condo it could have been a 5 star.

Take away the view....

If you took away the view the best way to describe the condo would be nice, if a little tired. Kitchen is very well equipped (never found soap for the dishwasher thou') and overall it was relatively comfortable. Couple of thoughts, not criticisms, the white condo ring binder needs to be clearer on things like trash, (only in bags!), the "new" front gate, and updates that reflect the newer grocery stores and other facilities. Also the syntax is obviously a translation from Spanish to English which is perhaps where some confusion might lie. Odd little things were noticed such as the patio doors don't fully close, there's a gap at the top. The two toilet seat don't quite fit the toilet bowls, requiring caution to avoid getting flesh caught and pinched! The two blue armchairs in the living room seem to have lost control of their seat springs which have pushed through the padding, which make them incredibly uncomfortable. The photos don't exactly reflect the current look of the condo or Club house, perhaps they should be updated. The addition of a ceiling fan over the dining table and in the master bedroom, (the floor fan doesn't do what a ceiling fan would do), would considerably reduce the A/C usage and bill. As I said these aren't criticisms, just thoughts on making the condo work better for guests.

Absolutely fabulous!

From the moment we walked in we fell in love with the condo and the view! We wanted to see how we would like being in the greater Cabo area, away from the resorts and craziness. Casa Hawknest was an oasis and we loved every minute of our stay. The amenities were great and I spent many mornings on the deck watching the sun rise and counting the cruise ships. The kitchen was well stocked; the pools were gorgeous (you can't beat the view from the adult pool); and we even worked out most days. It was an easy drive to beaches and town and we enjoyed exploring the Tezal area.

Casa Hawknest Review

The property was great and as advertised. The pictures show exactly how the property will look when you arrive. The view was outstanding! The advantages of being high on the hill is the privacy security. The downside is that I don't recommend you walk the hill. We enjoyed the privacy but quickly realized we needed to rent a car. I would rent the property again and suggest others rent it.

Great Property with Terrific View

A bit tricky finding this property the first time, but worth the zig-zag up the hill. The view from here is amazing. It's far enough from the city and major roads that it is pretty quiet all the time. But close enough to have a great view of the Cabo Arches, watching the cruise ships come and go, and incredible view of the city lights at night. The unit itself is very comfortable. We slept well on the king-size bed in the master. It was just the two of us, so we used the second bedroom with two twin beds to spread our luggage out. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking - love having a gas stove to cook on! And the full-size Weber BBQ was great for outdoor grilling. The pool and amenities building are right next door for easy access. For shopping, Costco and Walmart are just down the hill. And just a short drive to La Comer, Chedraui, or Soriana for a full selection of grocery shopping. You WILL need a car here - it's not walking distance to anything. But for us, that was part of the appeal! We would definitely stay here again :-) ps... driving in at night, watch out for roaming cows on the side of the road on the last uphill stretch!
