I cannot even say enough good things about this property. Communication was superb, the house was clean and well stocked. A perfect, quiet retreat, but close enough to activities (horseback riding, rafting, UTV Rentals, etc. We didn't want to leave!
We really enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect for our group. We enjoyed using the grill, fire pit and hot tub! Every morning we were treated to sunny mountain views!
My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and it was the perfect getaway! Nice and secluded and it was really cool to stay in the Rocky Mountains! Such a wonderful experience and it's close to Yellowstone so we were able to explore the park for a couple days too!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay! It gave us the privacy we wanted with the view we wanted! The host was great with communication and we had everything we needed and more.
We had a wonderful stay in Chico Hot springs. The house is amazing and Mary was super helpful. We had a great time exploring Yellowstone, surrounding areas, Livingston, fishing, etc. We especially enjoyed the cute general store, the hot tub, and making s’mores. We will be back!!
This was our first trip to Yellowstone and we had a great time! The house was about 30-45 mins from the North entrance and was extremely clean and well stocked! Mary was amazing at answering questions for anything we needed. The house has amazing views and is very private. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much Johanna! We look forward to hosting you if you do make it back out this way again :-)
Mary and Robert’s Alpine Lodge is just as described! We wanted quiet, relaxing evenings for family dinners and hot tub soaks after hiking all day in both parks-and that’s what we got! Thank you! Highly recommend!
This was one of the most equipped homes we have ever stayed in. The owners where super nice. The house was very private with outstanding views. I could not say enough how spectacular the home was. We would highly recommend this home if you have plans to visit the area. You will be hard pressed to find a better place to stay.
The view from the house is breathtaking. There's nothing negative I can say about this home or location. The size was spacious, yet cozy. The hot tub, outdoor fire pit were so nice and easy to use. The drive up to the home is not for anyone who doesn't like to go off the beaten path. If you are not up for an adventure or do not like back roads or dirt roads, then choose something else. The view and the home is definitely worth it though.

How delightful that you loved our home and location! We agree it's a very special place, and happily a great many people DO venture up the gravel road for a very special experience. Thanks again :-)
We really enjoyed our stay. It’s worth the drive up the mountain for the peace and quiet. We saw a beautiful rainbow over the mountain when we just arrived. The views were amazing and it seems like we had the whole mountain to ourselves. The house was nice to come home to relax after all the hiking we did in Yellowstone. Mary was a delight to communicate with and the house had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation.
We loved our stay in this beautiful property. Amazing Mountain View's . There was a total of six adults and we all had plenty of room. House is well equipped with everything you need. Great communication with the host. Got back to you right away.. Would definitely recommend this property and would for sure book it again.
This is our second time staying at this house. I can't say enough about it. It's a few minutes off the road but the drive itself is spectacular. Wonderful views of the valley the whole way.
The location provides plenty of privacy with expansive views of Paradise Valley. The house has everything you will need. The owner is very responsive with any questions.
This was a wonderful family vacation - we had it planned for over a year then like most vacationing in Yellowstone this year the flood came and we needed to change up our plans. Mary was very upfront about what was required and what she to do as far as accommodating our changes it all worked out beautifully. We enjoyed our time at this mountain home and hope to be returning visitors!

Thank you very much Scott - I agree it's a special peaceful place up there. I'm very happy you enjoyed your time in the mountains!
$1M view with privacy you've only imagined. Way up on a hillside, looking down at Paradise Valley and Emigrant Peak always in view. Property is very close to Yellowstone's north entrance. In short, if you are looking for an amazing place to decompress, stop looking and stay here. It's that simple.

I have rented more properties in trips to Montana over the last 30 years than I can count. This is the third time I stayed at this house. Last year I stayed at the other property, which is much larger as we had a large group. say enough about the place. It has everything you could possibly need. It’s in a great location with a beautiful view. It’s a short ride to Livingston. I’d recommend driving down E. River Rd as it is much more scenic. The ride to Yellowstone is short and beautiful as well. On the rear occasion when I did have a question regarding their properties, they’ve been extremely prompt in responding. It’s really not a valid question because I really never had any issues with the properties. I really can’t say enough about the property.

Thank you Martin - It's always a pleasure to have you and your family stay!
Everything was great and we’ll explained. The only thing that was incorrect from the photos is the one bedroom does not have a bunk bed. It still sleeps 3 but not as the picture shows. Everything else was right on and as described. Clean and beautiful property.

Thank you for the 5-star review Joe! You're right about the bunk room picture - completely went under the radar - we will replace that pic as soon as we can. Delighted you enjoyed your stay!
What an adventure for our first trip to Yellowstone!
We had a party of six (four adults, two children) making our first trip to Yellowstone. Little did we know that we would be caught up in the "100-year" flood of the Yellowstone River. We were cut off from Gardiner to the south by a road collapse, but luckily the road north to Livingston was only temporarily impacted by water over the road. Our host, Mary, was in constant contact providing needed updates on the situation.
The home itself exceeded our expectations. Everything was very clean (including the gas grill outside), beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious, and the pantry was exceptionally well-stocked with essentials. The views were spectacular!
Regardless of our flood experience, we enjoyed our stay immensely and would highly recommend this home to anyone planning to visit Yellowstone and the surrounding area.

Why they chose this property
Words cannot adequately describe the specialness of this place - peaceful beyond description, private, and readily accessible. Our home has the most amazing views, especially from the upstairs bedroom - waking to the sunrise highlighting snow-capped mountains and vast mountain landscapes to the north - south - east. A most wonderful heavenly place.
