The Yellowstone area is an amazing place to spend quality time, and this home is a rejuvenating retreat for body, mind and soul.

The property is located 35-40 minutes from the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park at Gardiner, Montana, the perfect place to enjoy all that the Yellowstone / Paradise Valley area have to offer - including fishing, boating, floating, horseback riding, hiking, photography, wildlife viewing, and more. Chico Hot Springs Resort (20-min) has a natural hot springs swimming pool, hot pool, horseback trail rides, river floats, sporting clays, day spa and dining. Further south are the fabulous Yellowstone Hot Springs in Corwin Springs (35 mins). This home is accessed by a paved road for the first couple miles, then a gravel road for the last 3 miles. It takes approx 12-15 minutes to get from the highway to the house. This gives great privacy and tremendous views - almost all of our guests feel it is worth the little extra drive because this place is so special!

With stunning views of Emigrant Peak through the large expanse of windows in the main living areas and the home’s large patio facing the mountains, this is a perfect spot for relaxing with a barbecue cook-out while you enjoy the mountains, the valley and the big skies after a long day at the Park!

The interior is a blend of modern luxury/rustic charm with a very modern kitchen - stainless appliances and granite countertops. Kitchen has everything you need for delicious home cooking, farmhouse sink, large pantry, and a conversation-friendly breakfast bar. The dining area comfortably seats 8 guests and is located just off the kitchen.

I'm Irish, from Dublin, my husband is from Belfast. He and I fell in love with the Paradise Valley area when visiting in the '80s, built a large geodesic dome home and raised our two kids here. Our kids also love Montana, have traveled widely but still want to call Montana home, which makes me very happy! We have lived in Montana for over 30 years. My husband Robert built this particular house after decades of building homes here in the Emigrant area, and we never tire of the great wild wide-open spaces of Paradise Valley.

Why they chose this property

Words cannot adequately describe the specialness of this place - peaceful beyond description, private, and readily accessible. Our home has the most amazing views, especially from the upstairs bedroom - waking to the sunrise highlighting snow-capped mountains and vast mountain landscapes to the north - south - east. A most wonderful heavenly place.
