Torridge Lodge is a beautifully refurbished countryside escape nestled within the peaceful landscapes of rural Devon. Thoughtfully updated by its passionate new owners, this charming retreat blends modern comfort with timeless character, creating the perfect base for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. The current owners have over 8 years hosting experience in their previous award winning accommodation.

The accommodation itself is perfectly positioned roughly one mile in each direction from two award winning pubs. The famous Half Moon at Sheepwash and the Black River Inn in Black Torrington. Adding an extra touch of indulgence to your stay is the wonderful indoor heated swimming pool, tucked away within the grounds. The pool is maintained at a comfortable 27 degrees, it offers enjoyment and a tranquil place to unwind. There is a very large enclosed nature pond for guests to enjoy surrounded by specimen trees and shrubs. Wildlife thrives in this idyllic setting, with owls, bats, cuckoos and buzzards regularly spotted amongst the surrounding countryside. Torridge Lodge is completely private with its own little pathway to the entrance. The rear veranda is not overlooked so guests have complete privacy for sunbathing, relaxing or dining. Ther is a side garden including a bbq area with steps leading up to the rear decking. The accommodation is bright and spacious.

Nearby Sheepwash captures the charm of a traditional Devon village, complete with a welcoming inn, village store and picturesque square. When you’re ready to explore, North Cornwall’s spectacular coastline is within easy reach. Discover the golden sands of Summerleaze Beach in Bude!
