About this property

Condo is on the 18th floor in the highly desirable ICON Tower. Corner unit with spectacular views overlooking Petco Park (you can actually see right into then stadium), the San Diego Bay, Coronado (including the bridge), and city views to the north. Tremendous light into the unit with many large windows. Two bedroom, 2 baths with brand new kitchen (new custom cabinets, counters with waterfall), new flooring, lighting and painting. Roomy with 1,100 sf. Luxury interior finishes and appliances. We just purchased the unit and bought all new furniture, mattresses, linens and furnishings. U-verse cable, 2 large screen TVs and high-speed internet included. Private balcony with table and chairs, looks directly into Petco Park with bay and ocean in the background. Washer and dryer in unit. Sheets, towels and down comforter provided (all brand new). 24/7 concierge staff. 2 (tandem) parking spots included. Luxury building amenities, including fully equipped fitness center, movie room, outdoor ready-to-use bbq area and spacious community room. And best of all, the Icon Skybox, a very large outdoor area (seats over 60) on the roof from which you can enjoy watching all the Padre home baseball games, as well as every other event taking place at Petco (or just take in the views while enjoying your drinks).

Nice Condo in Downtown San Diego

This two-bedroom, two bath condo was perfect for our extended vacation. The owner kept open communication with us, readily answering our questions. We loved that there was a washer and dryer in the unit! All ICON personnel were friendly and helpful. Since there was an extra bedroom, a friend from Los Angeles joined us for a night's stay, allowing us to catch up after several years. Because the unit is downtown, a Prontopass helped us get around to many places (via mass transit) for sightseeing without having to drive and find parking. The location is only a few blocks from the Gaslamp District and Seaport Village, both with numerous restaurants and shops. The Central Library is a couple of blocks the opposite direction, where people can purchase used books. The HOB Coffee Shop East Village is only a couple of blocks away, too, if you are a coffee lover. Thanks for a great time, San Diego, and especially to Rich, the owner of the unit.

Ideal Remote Work Getaway in San Diego

My stay at this San Diego apartment was outstanding, especially for remote work. The location is superb, just a stone's throw from 5th Avenue and the waterfront, surrounded by numerous cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment itself is bright, well-arranged, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Rich, the host, was fantastic, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a convenient and vibrant spot to work and explore the city.

Icon Tower Winter Stay

This was a very secure and well managed condo building 2 blocks from San Diego’s Gaslamp District. Rich met us & personally showed us our 2 underground parking spaces. He was extremely quick in responding to any questions we had during our stay. 2 major grocery stores, too many restaurants and entertainment opportunities to list within easy walking distance. The Shout House (dueling piano bar) was so much fun. The bike trail was right outside our door as was public transportation which was easy to use with a Pronto app. Our condo was spotless, full of natural sunlight, tastefully furnished with just enough furniture. W/D in unit. Great water pressure for showering, enough kitchen supplies for 8 people. Housekeeper came every 2 weeks. We joined in many activities thanks to the Icon social dept. They were Inclusive, friendly and very efficient with emails and notices posted in the building. The views outside our windows were amazing. Military ship traffic in the Coronado Bay, J Street activity, the Padres activity, the sunsets, the Sky Box for an even better view! We would definitely winter in this condo unit again!

The best stay you'll have in San Diego

Overall my hats off to Rich and Merrie. The description of the property is 100% accurate along with the previous reviews of the others who have stayed before me. What I truly commend is the fast communication and hospitality of Rich and Merrie. From the moment I booked the property I quickly received a notification from Rich with specified instructions meticulously outlining every helpful detail for your visit. During my stay if I had any question or issues, Rich was just a quick text away. In addition the ICON staff was very helpful as well if anything should occur.
