This is a self-contained property comprising the larger part of a detached stone cottage. (The owners use the smaller adjoining part of The Poplars as a retreat and when visiting they have access through the garden to the shed and top gate). The kitchen/diner includes an electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine and a door opening onto the garden. The lounge is homely and inviting with comfortable sofas and armchairs, a log effect electric fire and TV/DVD. Also, on the ground floor is a bathroom with electric shower over the bath and WC. Upstairs are two pretty bedrooms, one double and one twin. Both rooms boast original feature fireplaces and overlook the village green to the downs beyond.
Outside, there are delightful fenced gardens to the front and rear of the property with an attractive patio and comfortable outside furniture. Cars can be parked in the road opposite the cottage when space permits.
