About this property
3 Bed in Boscastle (oc-75145)
Situated in an elevated position above the village of Boscastle, just a short walk will take you into the village itself. Explore the picturesque harbour or stop for a bite to eat in one of the cafes before venturing along the coastal path to one of the many sandy beaches and sheltered coves that are dotted along this stretch of coastline. The popular fishing towns of Port Isaac and Padstow are within easy reach, both boasting independent shops, cafes, restaurants and galleries, while a little further afield, cultural sites such as King Arthur’s Castle, Llanhydrock House and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are waiting to be explored.
Stepping inside this former inn through the low doorway, you will find yourself in the porch area, perfect for storing coats and shoes. The snug area with exposed ship beams throughout is the perfect place to relax with a good book in front of the multi-fuel stove. Step up into the lounge with an abundance of character, you can cosy up in front of the second multi-fuel stove and watch your favourite film on the TV/DVD after a busy day exploring. The well-equipped kitchen area has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The dining area has seating for everyone as is perfect for a family meal to discuss the days activities. A steep cottage style staircase takes you up to the first floor where you will find a separate seating area on the landing, perfect for the little ones and here are the three bedrooms. The master super-king-size with en-suite shower room and WC offers duel aspect windows with superb rolling countryside views out over the church, the light and airy double bedroom is next along with a twin with seating area. Completing the accommodation is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Heading outside you will find an enclosed courtyard at the front of the cottage; this area is perfect to enjoy a glass of wine on those summer evenings with friends and family watching the world go by. Parking for this property is unrestricted street side parking.
