About this property
3 Bed in Brecon (oc-bn430)
This spacious, rustic barn, dating back to the late 1600s, is nestled in the picturesque village of Llangorse, making it an ideal base for exploring the Brecon Beacons. Enjoy a leisurely walk or cycle around the scenic Llangorse Lake, or dive into outdoor adventures with water sports and fishing. Families will love the nearby Llangorse Multi Activity Centre, offering a wide range of activities such as pony trekking and climbing. For dining, the local pub provides a perfect spot for a family meal, or venture 7 miles to Brecon, where you'll find a variety of excellent restaurants.
Inside, the barn boasts a charming blend of exposed beams, stone walls, and rustic décor, creating a warm and inviting country atmosphere. The open-plan living area includes a well-equipped farmhouse kitchen, featuring a Range Master gas hob with griddle plate, an electric oven, microwave, and fridge. Enjoy home-cooked meals at the dining table, or unwind in the cosy lounge with a Smart TV, perfect for watching your favourite films by the gas coal-effect fire set in the original stone fireplace. The back door leads to a utility room with a washing machine, dryer, second fridge, and freezer, as well as a convenient downstairs cloakroom with a WC. Upstairs, the space feels bright and airy, with an interior balcony overlooking the open-plan ground floor. The master bedroom, with its vaulted beamed ceiling, offers a comfortable king-size bed. There are two additional bedrooms - one with a double bed and another with twin beds - both equally well-decorated. Upstairs also features a family bathroom with a roll-top bath and WC, along with a separate shower room with a walk-in shower and WC.
Outside, a shared cobbled stone patio with garden furniture invites you to relax and soak in the fresh air on sunny days. The property also offers parking for two cars.
