This getaway is perfectly positioned in the quiet little crofting township of Camuscross on the Sleat Peninsula in the southern part of Skye. The village is full of rural charm with its single-track road that curls prettily around the coastline offering wonderful valley and countryside scenery. The cottage is within walking distance of small and secluded sandy bays, a wonderful spot for walking the dogs, and the popular local restaurant and bar with its cosy lounge and crackling log fire where you can enjoy a dram of award-winning Gaelic whiskies and gins. You will also find a small pier, an art gallery, and a whisky shop.
On entering this beautiful home, step into the handy porch where you will find the washing machine, and space to leave your outdoor boots and shoes. The porch leads into the kitchen/diner, which is fully equipped to cook up a storm with an electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. Set the table and enjoy a family meal whilst planning your next adventures. Follow the hall through to the delightful and welcoming lounge which features a traditional wood burner. Relax on the comfortable sofas after a day out exploring and watch a movie on the Smart TV or play a board game. Continuing back through the hall you will find a family bathroom with a bath, separate shower and a WC and two light and bright bedrooms, one king-size and one twin.
Outside, the spacious enclosed garden, which is mainly laid to lawn, is the perfect area for children to play and relax in whilst you admire the splendid countryside scenery. There is a seating area with a charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining on a warmer day. There is ample off-road parking available next to the property.
