Set close to the end of a dead-end road, this cottage is the perfect escape from everyday life. Enjoy a quiet walk in this cute lakeside neighborhood, a homecooked meal from the fully equipped kitchen, or lounge on the sunny patio. After you have enjoyed your day, prepare recipes on the gas grill and unwind while you roast marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace.
This is the perfect mix of peace and quiet but still minutes away from restaurants, shops, canal towns, attractions, parks and beaches including paved paths to walk or bike on the Erie Canal and Hamlin Beach State Park.

Our cottage is consistently rated 5 stars for cleanliness, and we take great pride in meticulously cleaning our cottage before each guest arrive. We want our guests to be comfortable. If you have fragrance sensitivities, please notify us at the time of booking to see if your special needs can be accommodated. We do have one plug in scent in the utility room and a Damprid to absorb moisture in the bedroom closets. We absolutely can remove them prior to arrival with advanced notice.
We thoroughly clean and disinfect between each rental. We require a day between each rental. We disinfect all light switches, remotes, handles, faucets, and counter tops. We wash all towels and linens in hot water with laundry soap and bleach. Ceramic floors are cleaned with hot water and bleach. Bathtub/shower is cleaned with cleansers with bleach.

This charming 1100 sq. ft. heated year-round vacation rental cottage is on a cul-de-sac, in a lakeside community, along the shores of Lake Ontario. It's located in Hilton New York - a beautiful northwestern suburb of Rochester, New York. Located far enough away to enjoy a secluded retreat from everyday life, but close enough to experience all that Rochester has to offer.
The peaceful cottage is nestled on the south side of the road, on a private 50x250 lot backing up to dense wood. The lake is on the north side of the road. There is little traffic. There is a beach area that has neighborhood walk-in privileges to use. This is a natural beach with no lifeguards. It is natural - may have some beach stones, driftwood and algae.

This unique location consists of cottages, and homes. It is a 2-minute walk from the Braddock Point Lighthouse which is privately own. There is also a tiny public park called Bogus Park, with a fantastic vantage point to watch the sunset next to the lighthouse during most times of the year. Folding chairs are provided to walk down to watch sunset in comfort.

Conveniently located 2 minutes from the scenic Lake Ontario Parkway, this serene setting provides fresh air and the opportunity to kick back and take things a bit more slowly.
This is an optimal place to surround yourself with peace and quiet. The cottage is the perfect mix of a lakeside retreat and a woodland cabin. It has the beautiful rustic touches you would expect with updates. The private setting is enhanced by a deep lot, and the benefit of not being sandwiched between neighboring houses.
This is a very safe neighborhood. We do have security cameras to monitor the driveway.
This is a delightful gem of a place to get away to unwind. Whether it is quiet solitude and reflection or days filled with activities you will find it all here.

Additional Things to do: Metro Rochester is within a 30-minute drive. There are great restaurants, theaters, Rochester Redwings baseball, planetarium, science museum, a zoo, and night clubs. There are various festivals throughout the year.
Universities - State University College at Brockport -25 minutes, The University of Rochester-30 minutes, Rochester Institute of Technology-30 minutes, Saint John Fisher College -40 minutes Six Flags, Darien Lake Amusement and Water Park is 45 minutes away. Seabreeze Amusement Park is 25 minutes away. Letchworth State Park called the 'Grand Canyon of the East' is 1 hour away.
Niagara Falls is 90 minutes away. View the mighty falls in various locations, take a trip on the Maid Of The Mist to get a close up look, and visit the casino ! Take the scenic route to the Falls and visit several wineries on the Niagara Wine Trail along the way.
The Finger Lakes Region is about an hour away - There are over 80 wineries to choose from in a scenic environment.
