A lovely, spacious, well-equipped, spotlessly clean family home in a quiet, relaxing location.

We spent ten nights at this villa and had an amazing time with the family (kids ages 11 & 8). The villa was exceptionally well equipped and perfectly located for a quiet relaxing holiday. The village is a 2 minute stroll away, where you can find a bakery, butchers, tabac and a small bar. A large supermarket is a ten minute drive away. The location is fabulous for exploring the region, with destinations north (e.g. Pont du Gard, Nimes, St. Guilhem-le-Desert etc.) and south (Montpellier, Espiguette, Camargue etc.) within easy reach by car. Also, we spent a lot of time at the villa, enjoying the swimming pool, hot-tub, gas BBQ, table-tennis table and when we wanted respite from the heat, we came in from the garden to enjoy the very well air-conditioned interior. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of local red wine - the first of many consumed during our stay! Overall, we could not recommend this villa highly enough, whether you're a small adult group, or like us, a couple with two older children. An exceptional property, in a stunning location.

5 star luxury!

Lovely, clean, spacious, luxurious villa with a very private back garden and pool area. Wonderfully situated next to a medieval village, just a short walk to a boulangerie and a boucherie, who were all very friendly and helpful despite our minimal French! Excellent BBQ facilities at the villa too. We made a few trips; Pezenas, the beach at Espiguette, Nîmes and Aigues Mortes.

Nice and spatious villa for a relaxing vacation

We, a four-headed family with two teenagers, spent about 2 weeks in July at this nice and spatious home. The owners were most welcoming and very informative. The villa was spotlessly clean and had everything we required. Also the swimming pool was very clean. The villa had security gates which gave us a great feeling of safety. The large garden offered also an area for playing football or badminton. The neighbourhood was very quiet, the house was very close to the midieval center of Les Matelles. A bakery as well as a butcher were nearby in the village. The next supermarket is about 8 km away and easy to reach by car. The location is a very good starting point for visits of the many attractions in the region: Montpellier, Nimes, Pont du Gard, Avignon, Arles, St. Guilhem-le-Desert, ... Altogether, a very enjoyable and relaxing 2 week vacation. We would recommend highly and would have no hesitation in returning in the future.
