Perfect for the seven of us. Lots of seating and corners to hang out. Nice location and beautiful deck. Well equipped kitchen. Very appreciative of the WiFi since we had zero service with Verizon in the whole Muir beach and woods area. Highly recommend!

This rental was perfectly located for our vacation and allowed us the space to spread out and relax. They have a kid’s corner in the living room, with toys and books, and a large deck with a pretty view. The kitchen was well stocked and communication was great!Highly recommend!

The house is beautiful and so comfortable! Views are great from the deck and it's just a quick walk up the hill to see the ocean - amazing location. I ended up arriving about an hour before official check-in and Greg gave me the green light to check in early, which was very kind! Communication was easy throughout the weekend, especially since the hosts live in the space at the top of the hill - within sight of the rental house. Would stay again! Would recommend!

Lovely view across street, beds comfortable. The house is full of mold , my mother got very sick as she was in the downstairs bedroom. I encountered a massive headache from 5 minutes in the laundry room. Take shoes off, no talk after 8, dissertations on behavior everywhere. Dirty rugs, pillows floors. We need a refund it’s not right to make us sick, suggest immediate attention before renting again with full mold evaluation. Unsatisfactory dwelling.

We are sorry that this guest was dissatisfied with their stay. We take the cleanliness, condition, and safety of our home very seriously. We were particularly concerned by the claims regarding mold and cleanliness, as they do not reflect the condition of the home. Our house is professionally cleaned after every guest stay, including the floors, rugs, and bedding, and we have never previously received a complaint regarding mold or the cleanliness of the home. We also want to clarify our house guidelines regarding noise. We ask guests to remove their shoes in the house, and our quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., when we ask guests to avoid loud music and other excessive noise out of consideration for our neighbors. There is no rule prohibiting guests from talking after 8 p.m. Had these concerns been brought to our attention during the stay, we would have responded immediately and done everything we could to address them. We appreciate genuine feedback from our guests and always want to know if something needs attention. However, we also want future guests to have an accurate understanding of our home and our hosting standards.

The host was great and the setting is beautiful. Only less than perfect thing for us were some extremely steep stairs to the entrance, which were tough on the old ones, though probably fine for anyone under 70.

Loved our stay at your place last weekend. It was exactly what we were wanting for our daughter's wedding weekend at Pelican Inn. Enjoyed the WARM cozy beds with their electric blankets, and well stocked kitchen. We also utilized the beautiful deck for morning workouts. We were all amazed at how well the heater was also :) amazing location since it was steps away from the most beautiful Muir Beach Lookout.

The views absolutely sealed the deal!!! Wow! Absolutely breathtaking! This is such a unique property. My 26 and 28 year old boys loved the fort appeal of the twin bunk beds. They were as excited as they would have been at 6 and 8!!! It was a wonderful experience. Would definitely stay again!

The property was exactly as advertised, and had everything we needed for our trip! The hosts Greg and Deb provided a wealth of helpful information leading up to and throughout our stay. The views from the main living space and deck were spectacular, as were views from the Muir Beach lookout across the street, and while driving up and down Highway 1. Our boys also enjoyed the loft spaces in the property. Easy access to/from San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge. Check-in and check-out couldn’t have been easier. Thanks again to Greg and Deb!

The house was perfect for our group and the location is incredible! Highlights for us were: the deck, the well-equipped kitchen, the house layout with bedrooms nicely spaced for privacy, the Beatles paraphernalia, and especially the location. The views are gorgeous and it's just a very short walk to the ocean lookout, where we watched every sunset and also did some star-gazing. We wished we could have stayed longer!

HI Janelle, Thanks for the five stars. I'm sorry that your experience with our internet was that it was weak. We are directly wired into our local LAN so have excellent, fast, and stable wifi. I wonder where you were in the building when you had that experience and what type device you were using? I wish you'd said something to me at the time as I could have helped you identify the issue and gotten you up to full speed and strength. We've never had that kind of feedback before. In fact, we recently hosted a nice couple from New York who worked remotely even taking part in numerous video Zoom conference calls and they reported no problems at all. Many of our guests do work remotely including an ER physician who had no problems whatsoever with the wifi to do his work and stay connected. Again, apologies, but I'm at a loss to explain your experience given our hard wired wifi set up. Best, Greg
