The Maravilla has one of the largest pools on Galveston Island! There are 3 pools, one heated a hot tub and exercise room with ocean view! We are very dog friendly with a dog park and shower.
Welcome to Golden Sunset! Beach cottage decor with all the extras and convenient location and great views with 2 balconies open and ready for YOUR GROUP!!

***As you enter the complex, you might notice a small construction project at the very
front. You might hear some noise during the day from 8 to 5. All construction and noise from construction stops at 5:00pm.This is no where near this condo!

Featuring:
* Ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom. Master features enlarged shower. One tub in the 1st bathroom.
*Accessible fully furnished balconies off of the master bedroom and den.
*Kitchen with full size appliances and all the necessities.
*Full size washer/dryer INSIDE the condo.
*Nice furnished balconies off of the den and master.

BRINGING YOUR DOG: We welcome dogs so if you would like to bring your pet with you, please send a request with the type and weight and we will send you the approval. Please add PET to your reservation. Our non-refundable pet fee is $150 plus tax for two dogs up to 35 pounds each. NOTE: If you bring a pet that you have NOT paid for, this is in violation of our House Rules and you could be asked to leave with no refund.

This condo offers beautiful views, with updated features, sleeps 10 and has 3 king beds with 3 full size bathrooms and a washer and dryer.

You will have 100% access to the entire beach condo with private entrance.

This condo is located next to EVERYTHING fun in Galveston. Just step across Seawall Blvd for access to the wonderful beach. Moody Gardens is just behind us within a short drive. Within walking distance is Jimmys on the Pier for dining (upstairs...over the ocean) or fishing. You can also walk to the Go Cart tracks and the movie theater and Miniature Golf. There is a handy guide in the condo with all of our favorite restaurants and things to do.

Galveston Trolley is available at $1 per ride accessible at 81st St.
Uber & Lyft are available also.
Parking on the Seawall is available for a fee.
Fee: $1 / hour, not to exceed $8 / day, yearly passes available*
Operation: 10 AM – 6 PM, 7 days a week, 365 days per year

At the complex, there is ample non-reserved covered and uncovered parking. You can pay the front office upon arrival or the next morning if arriving after hours. A parking fee must be paid to Maravilla office upon arrival. The office does not accept cash. Parking Rules and prices beginning June 1, 2021 are as follows:
1) Parking Rates will be set at $10.00 per car per day PLUS Sales tax
2) Trailers (Motorcycle) will be charged the same rate as cars and are limited to special event weekends such as Biker Rally Weekend. No other time are trailers of any sort allowed to be parked at Maravilla.
3) Per day rates will be capped after $70.00 per 30 day time period, and the per day rate will start over again on the 31st day.

Winter Texans! We offer long term winter rates for Fall and Winter every year. Simply add a 30 day or more stay and the discount is automatically added to your quote.

Beautiful Condo

There was some construction going on during our stay but it didnt interfere with our trip at all. The heated pool was wonderful and the beds were cozy. Overall it was a great stay and we plan to go again.

Great Experience

This condo allowed for myself, husband, 4 children and grandparents to all stay together. It was easy to walk to the beach and the kids had a blast at the pools.

Perfect Stay

We had a family get-together at multiple places on this property and it worked out great! Donna had the best communication I have ever received on a VRBO property. She provided all the important information when you need it. 3 bedroom, 3 full baths could not be beat. Great location with easy access to the island. They are in the midst of making improvements to the property (appears to be an amazing pool area being put in) and once done it will be even better. Highly recommend.

Perfect place

We had the best time staying here. We had 3 adults and 4 kids and did not feel cramped at all. Kitchen was fully stocked with all pots and pans, glassware, etc., the beds were comfortable and plenty of beach towels were provided. The condo was very clean when we arrived. Overall, a great experience. We will definitely be staying here again.

2024 Getaway

This 3 bed/3 bath unit is great for family and friends. The coastal decor was lovely and everything was as it appeared on the VRBO site. The manager was quick to respond and helpful. The pools were very nice. I would stay again next time I visit Galveston.

Perfect condo for our group

The condo was very nice and clean. The size was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 3 kids. Donna was super helpful explaining everything to us and was very accommodating for our check-out time. Location was close to everything in Galveston, but enough away not to be bothered by normal seawall traffic. Great stay!

Golden Sunset

This is the second year we’ve vacationed in Galveston and stayed at the Golden Sunset condo. Just like last year, it did not disappoint. Our family absolutely loves the property, pools, and condo itself. Donna was always helpful and responded in a timely manner. This will not be our last trip to this property!

Fabulous place

Our group of nine (5 kids), loved your place, Donna! Beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook every night. The pools were great and the beach was just a short walk away. I look forward to going back when those balconies are fixed, so i can drink my coffee in the morning on our next visit. Thanks, Donna!

Great Experience in Galveston

The property was amazing and exactly as described in the listing. We were close to all of the activities we had planned for the trip and still had a retreat at the complex. The dog park was not the best and in need of repair however they did have alternate areas that were not fenced in. The condo itself was well stocked and very roomy. The beds were comfortable and we could not have asked for a better stay!

We were asked by management not to use 2 porches/balconies due to structural concerns. 10% of rental fee was refunded by owner for the inconvenience. Otherwise a very comfortable place.

Sunshine Getaway

We celebrated my husband‘s 40th birthday with our children and his parents. Adequate space for all to rest comfortably and yet a large communal space for us to enjoy coffee and breakfast as well as wind down at the end of the night. The close proximity to the pool allowed myself and my youngest to enjoy the water and the sunshine, while older kids slept in, while others stayed comfortable out of the sun. Everyone at some point enjoyed the pool and were pleasantly surprised at the experience and overall space. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed to do so with ease. Saved as a favorite and will rebook again.

Home away from home!

Condo was a perfect fit for our large family needs, offering 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, plus an extra set of bunk beds in the foyer. It was a short stay, so we didn't get a chance to use the pool or workout room, but everything looked very nice. Only drawback was that the balconies were not accessible due to inspection issues (not specific to this unit, but to an entire section of the building). Kitchen was great, including a Keurig and barstool seats for dining. Bathrooms were top notch. Will definitely consider renting this again on our next trip to Galveston.

Condo was great!

Condo was great! Everything that was promised. We all loved that each bedroom had its own bath. The kitchen had all of the accessories we needed to cook. We were a little disappointed in the size of the living area. There was not enough room for all of us to sit comfortably and watch some tv. Two of us would sit in the bar chairs.

This was a lovely stay at a wonderful home

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maravilla condo. The location was perfect. So close to everything that Galveston has to offer. The unit itself was beautifully decorated and spotless. Our guests included some realtors and they all raved about the décor and the amazing use of space. We had six adults with us and everyone was perfectly comfortable. The owner, Donna, was great to work with. She sent detailed instructions and directions prior to our departure so we felt very comfortable with our arrangements being ready for us. The eating on Galveston Island was amazing and once we figured out to go a little earlier than our normal 6:30 or 7 we did not encounter a wait anywhere. I highly recommend this VRBO rental and we will definitely want to book again.

This condo was absolutely gorgeous!

We were given all the information that we needed prior to our arrival and did not have any problems. I had sent a couple messages to the owner with minor questions after booking and received a response rather quickly. I was quite concerned about how it would be as some enhance their photos to make it look nicer. The pictures are as close as could be to what it looked like and my entire family was very impressed. Also, the beds were very comfortable! Too bad we couldn't use the balcony's but we knew that when booking, rather be safe than sorry! We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to all of our family and friends. Thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous condo with us!

Great place to stay

Great 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo on the 3rd floor. One of the pools was heated to 92 degrees so the kids loved swimming in it even on cold days. Great response to any needs.
