About the host
Hosted by Linda Kramer

Our family bought this house after Hurricane Katrina sent us north for a couple of years. We loved it, and decided to keep it for summers. We hope to someday move here permanently.
Why they chose this property
Proximity to downtown Hill City, but still feels woodsy.
We love the burgeoning arts scene in Hill City, as well as the small town feel. Swimming in the lakes, fishing, hiking and biking the trails are favorite summer past times.

What makes this property unique
This home has a great view of downtown, and yet deer walk by the window in the early morning and evening. We love the open great room, with the catwalk crossing overhead. We love that it is comfortable both for adults and children. The fireplace when it is cool/cold is lovely.
