Aspen Grove Lodge is a cabin in the Lazy Acres subdivision of West Yellowstone, Montana. Aspen Grove was designed to provide spacious indoor & outdoor gathering spots that will allow your group to build great memories together.

Absolute Perfection! This property was even better than expected. We had a family snowmobiling vacation with our kids and their significant others for 20 days. Kids were flying in from Florida, Hawaii and Spain. They all work remotely and the layout of the house afforded them with space to work when they had to and socialize when they didn’t. Not one problem with WiFi either! Cleanliness was impeccable! While we have rented other houses in the same price range, there has never been a host who can hold a candle to Julie. We had to contact her 5 or 6 times in the 20 days (all of them due to our errors/needs) and she was always prompt, professional and a joy to talk to. Every need was met. Truly a gem! Bed and linens were all very comfortable. Kitchen well appointed. Even the neighbors were friendly. This was a great place to make some wonderful family memories!

GREAT Vacation Rental

This vacation rental was the perfect stay for our group of six. There was plenty of space for us to gather and enjoy great meals together. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need! My family and our friends enjoyed our stay at Julie's property. It was well stocked and was close to the park and downtown yet far enough away that it felt secluded.We ended up with a flat tire one evening after everything was closed up and Julie and her cleaning person came through with the name & number of a guy down the road in Idaho who fixed our flat in no time.Was such a huge help to us!!! The perfect stay for our group of 7. Plenty of room to be together and share great meals. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need! Movie night was fun in the upstairs game room with great seating and a huge tv. The fire pit and hot tub made for very relaxed evenings. Close to town, but still in a quiet area. The owners of Aspen Grove Lodge are Scott & Libby. They live in Minneapolis, MN, and enjoy spending time outdoors, primarily through activities such as hiking, skiing, and biking. They also love to travel and have enjoyed staying in many short-term rentals over the years.

Julie Thomas is the property manager of Aspen Grove Lodge. She lives in Minneapolis, MN, with her husband and daughter. They passionately travel the world, and there isn't a destination that isn't on the bucket list!

Why they chose this property

Scott and Libby started coming to West Yellowstone about 8 years ago and fell in love with the area and all it had to offer, both summer and winter. They managed a one-bedroom VRBO rental in Bend and enjoyed meeting people and helping them make the most of their trips to the area. When they had an opportunity to buy property in West Yellowstone and build additional short-term rental properties, they decided to go for it. Although they aren't managing full-time, they remain committed to helping guests have the best experience possible!

What makes this property unique

The lot for Aspen Grove Lodge is large and allowed them to focus on building not only a spacious home for guests inside, but also great outdoor spaces. The inside of the house is oriented to large gathering spots - the great room, kitchen and dining on the main floor and recreation room on the upper floor. Everything is done using top quality materials and attention to detail. Lots of space for everyone to spread out after a day in the park and talk, eat, play games and soak in the hot tub.
